Disc's we're all in perfect working order.

As for the product itself...well it's the Office, what's not to like!
Laughed myself silly so often, definitely one of my favourite television series, and contains some of the best episodes of the Office.

Editorial Review:

Fill your Inbox with hilarious moments from The Office Season Three in this four-disc collection that's crammed with extensive bonus features and all 22 episodes of the 2006 Primetime Emmy Award winner for Outstanding Comedy Series! Steve Carell is back in his Golden Globe-winning role as earnest but clueless boss Michael Scott, who can't help but contribute his own irreverent commentary to the daily happenings at the Scranton branch of the Dunder Mifflin paper company. As the staff deals with potential office closures, mergers, romances, and advancement, Michael's always there to say all the wrong things at all the right times. Including five supersized episodes and over three hours of deleted scenes, The Office Season Three is packed with classic moments from the show that TIME magazine praises for "satirizing the culture of coffee, cubicles and Chili's with heart and laser precision."

Awesome! 5 out of 5 stars.

This is a must see movie for everyone....especially girls. I've loaned my copy to my son's History teacher (7th grade, and studying the "roaring 20's"). I had no idea the indignities, disrespect, and abuse these women suffered to win American women the right to vote! It's something I never thought about. Why, because I've always had the right to vote, because of these women. POwerful!

Thank You Ladies!!! 5 out of 5 stars.

When I watched this movie I just kept saying "THank You Ladies, for what you went through to get our vote!" This movie was so compelling and passionate for what they believed in and stood for. Hillary Swank was great as usual. I always knew that women went through a lot in order to get us the vote, but I never dreamed it was to that extent! I have always voted, and this was an election year for President and I was very excited to vote and let my voice be heard. Thanks again to all the Ladies that helped to give me that privilege. Don't ever take that right for granted. If you are undecided about voting then watch "Iron Jawed Angels" It will touch your heart and soul and make you feel proud to be a woman!! I reccomend this movie for everyone!!

Editorial Review:

Oscar-winner Hilary Swank stars in a fresh and contemporary look at a pivotal event in American history, telling the true story of how a pair of defiant and brilliant young activists took the women's suffrage movement by storm, putting their lives at risk to help American women win the right to vote.

Simply the best! 5 out of 5 stars.

Hey, it's Boston Legal-what's not to like?! This show has got something for everyone. The writing has been superb from Day One. The characters are glorious in their diversity, from Denny Crane ("lock and load" as he steps into a stall in the men's room, sports section in hand) to the beleaguered Paul Lewiston, trying desperately to maintain a modicum of Old World decorum in the midst of a microcosm of America's increasingly bizarre socio-economic landscape. One of the basic premises of this show seems to be that there are no sacred cows-equal opportunity irreverence reigns supreme. Tell me that you are not thoroughly tired of the current state of PC (political correctness) which makes one reluctant to express any kind of opinion at all for fear of reprisals ranging from the sublime to the ridiculous. The good folks of Boston Legal never fail to show us just how ridiculous it has become. It's a big juicy slice of life with plenty of eye candy, lots of laughs and an undercurrent of caring and sharing that pulls it all together. The next time you have one of those days when you just want to crawl into bed and pull the covers over your head, lock and load some Boston Legal before doing the blanket thing. Works every time for me.

This was my second order Volume 2. The first was for me, and the second was for Lorna Gray, who was in several Three Stooges shorts (including ones on this disc). She was thrilled that the shorts are being digitally restored, and presented in order.

Another Volume Of Three Stooges Hilarity! 5 out of 5 stars.

After purchasing the first volume of the Three Stooges collection and watching it with family members, I was pleasantly surprised that the second volume was out so soon! I pre-ordered it as soon as I could and, after viewing each short from 1937-1939, was not disappointed in the least!

The first volume had a few (but ONLY a few) clunker episodes as the Stooges and their directors were still trying to find their niche, but this volume is air-tight in both acting and directing, as the Stooges really find their formula in appealing to the baser instincts of Depression-Era film-goers (as movies were one of the few things they COULD afford for entertainment).

In my opinion, this is (overall) the best volume of the four that have been released so far, as there isn't a bad episode in the bunch. If you enjoyed the first collection, or just love the Stooges in general, buy this product with confidence that it will give you many hours of side-splitting laughs!

An Icredible DREAM COME TRUE!!!! 5 out of 5 stars.
5 of 6 people found this review helpful.

I bought this set today as a birthday present to myself. I couldn't be happier. I already owned Seasons 1 and 4, and I went ahead and bought this anyways. The packaging is incredible! It comes in a black box that is embossed with images of Batman on it, and has a clear plastic slip-case to slide it into and cover it. Inside, all 17 DVDs are put together in 2 oversized DVD cases. You get all of the special features as you would have by buying all seasons individually, PLUS a bonus DVD with all new special features. On top of that, you get a beautiful over-sized book with great artwork and behind the scenes sketches. To me, the book and packaging alone is worth the money. (In the book, there are character sketches with the notes the art crew used while making this series. I really love this because these are the types of things a regular guy like me would never get to see about one of my all-time favorite shows)! If you already have one or all of these seasons on DVD, give them to a friend or family member to try and turn them on to this series. You could even take the individual seasons you already own and sell them through ebay or a used CD/DVD store to try and recover some of your cost. I am going to donate the 2 seasons I already have to some kind of children's shelter or something like that where I hope a new generation of children may discover this show. I think this show has so much more to offer kids now a days compared to a lot of other kids shows out there. I don't mean to sound preachy, but I think a show like this only comes along once in a great while, and it is truly a gift for fans of animation. I woould gladly buy this again, and recomend it to anybody who loves this classic as much as I do!

Spare us the cr@p, deliver the goodies! 3 out of 5 stars.
4 of 6 people found this review helpful.

If I'm to put up with politically correct disclaimers, at least let me get my money's worth, instead of ripping me off with second-best material.

Case in question: "Señorella and the Glass Huarache".

Now don't get me wrong, I am Mexican and not in the least offended by the depiction of my fellow nationals in the cartoon. Personally, I love Speedy Gonzalez, Slowpoke Rodriguez, the two lazy crows, the sombreroed cricket and every other ethnic pun aimed at Mexico and Mexicans. Keep them coming for all I care; I don't mind. In fact, shame on those who do!

But weak humor, tired ideas and limited animation, that I truly abhor. Señorella's only merit is that it was the last cartoon to be produced by the original WB studio. Aside from that, its storytelling is slow, the gags are predictable, and the entire thing has that cheap DePatie-Freleng look, in anticipation of toon decadence to come. Why put this insipid short and not the extraordinary "Coal Black and de Sebben Dwarves" that's kept locked in a vault? Now there's a comic masterpiece worth apologizing for! Why not release it,if it's already available on YouTube for free, only in substandard quality?

Warner might as well charge for it, complete with a sermon by Whoopy Goldberg and Ted Danson -in blackface, if it makes them feel better- decrying its content, instead of defrauding the consumer with a "Golden Collection" filled with nickel-and-dime stuff!

A Great Season With Just A Few Slips In Time 4 out of 5 stars.
1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

David Tennant's second season as everybody's favorite Doctor is wonderful. It features some of the best adventures in the revived show's run. While many may miss Billie Piper's Rose, Freema Agyeman is more than sufficient as the Doctor's latest companion, Martha. The duo meet in the season opener (albeit the second show of the actual season), "Smith & Jones." That particular episode gives viewers a dose of creepiness thanks to a blood-sucking villain who's on the run from the Judoon, a rhino-like alien species who patrol the stars looking for baddies.

The rest of the season is filled with plenty of highlights. In particular, the Doctor and Martha face off against witches in "The Shakespeare Code" which actually features William Shakespeare (a theme of bumping into literary legends that has flourished in the series revival). Two excellent two-show arcs also pop up during this season. The Daleks return in "Daleks in Manhattan" and "Evolution of the Daleks" and a new enemy appears in "Human Nature" and "Family of Blood."

The best show of the entire revival is also found in this season of Who. "Blink" is scary, suspenseful and the pinnacle of the creepiness that haunts this entire season. Using a familiar fixture of cemetaries, churches and office buildings, this story will make you look twice (and not blink) at certain statues you come across in everyday life.

With so much excellence running throughout the entire season, you'd think that even the subpar episodes would be brilliant. Unfortunately that isn't so. While "The Lazarus Experiment," "42" and the first episode of a three show arc, "Utopia," are all solid, episodes such as the dull "Gridlock" and the downright goofy "The Last of the Time Lords" actually grate the nerves of fans of the original series. Even the return of Captain Jack can't save the season finale from being something of a disappointment. "The Runaway Bride" also toys with the goofy factor.

Two of the Doctor's classic television villains return this season. One gets a CGI update in the not-so-hot "Gridlock" and the other appears in the three-episode finale (although sharp viewers will recognize his name before he actually appears on screen). Derek Jacobi and John Simm portray this baddie who I'll keep nameless for now, but Simm's portrayal is too over-the-top for me. There's even a very light hint at another of the Doctor's classic foes, but whether or not SHE will ever make a comeback is unknown at this time.

Special features include "Doctor Who Confidential" episodes, Tennant's video diary, deleted scenes, promos, etc. including a fun political endorsement from Sharon Osbourne for a character that viewers will get to know quite well by the end of the season.

Tennant and Agyeman are the glue that keeps this season afloat. While there are a few misses in this season, their performances and the excellence of "Blink" and "The Shakespeare Code" make this a must-have season.

Recommended to fans of both the classic and revived Who series as well as anybody who enjoys action, suspense, comedy and a good dose of horror to boot.

Editorial Review:

The third installment of Doctor Who is full of new thrills, new laughs, new heartbreak and some terrifying new monsters. From the moment the Doctor walks into the life of medical student Martha Jones he changes it forever. In Elizabethan London, they meet William Shakespeare at the Globe Theatre while back in present day London, 76-year-old Professor Lazarus recaptures his youth with consequences that threaten Martha's entire family. And, the Doctor's sworn enemies, the Daleks, who have been hiding in 1930's New York, return with a terrifying plan for humanity.

BSG3 is the finest season of TV EVER 5 out of 5 stars.
0 of 0 people found this review helpful.

From the first part to the end, season 3 is extraordinary TV. The new home followed by the invasion was suspenseful, difficult, intriguing and just about any other superlative you can throw at it. Col Tigh, Roslin, Chief, Starbuck are all in top form for this season. Lee Adama, while not in top physical form, nonetheless plays a key role as well. From the ultrahot #6 to the other cylons we've all known to love and hate, the action and drama are both equally on display. I know I will see this whole series again in the near future but season 3 will always be the best one.

Editorial Review:

The adventure of one of television's finest dramas continues with the complete third season of the Peabody Award-winning Battlestar Galactica. The Colonies' survivors have found their hopes of eluding their Cylon pursuers dashed by an invasion and occupation of their new home. As the fate of all human life hangs in the balance, friends become enemies, enemies become unexpected allies, and decisions are made that will haunt some people for the rest of their lives. Relive all 20 episodes of the season that challenges everything you thought you knew about the Battlestar Galactica universe. Presented in Dolby 5.1 surround sound, the 6-disc set features over 15 hours of extensive special features, including the DVD exclusive version of the episode "Unfinished Business" containing 25 additional minutes of never-before-seen footage. You won't want to miss a minute of the series considered "one of the best dramas on TV" (Time Magazine).

The Office hits its stride! 5 out of 5 stars.

Season Two was by far my favorite and the DVD set is a wonderful one to own. I have all the seasons, but if I was going to get just one, I'd get season two. I find myself watching it all the time and laughing HARD. I can't wait for the premier tonight!

Editorial Review:

It's time to clock in for Season Two of The Office, the hilarious and witty TV-mockumentary starring Steve Carell (The 40-Year-Old Virgin) in his Golden Globe Award-winning role. From sexual politics to performance reviews to email espionage, the employees at Dunder-Mifflin are there to get the job done…or not. Join earnest but clueless boss Michael Scott (Carell), Assistant to the Regional Manager Dwight (Rainn Wilson), receptionist Pam (Jenna Fischer), sales rep Jim (John Krasinski), and the office temp, Ryan (B.J. Novak), as they make the daily grind a lot more laughable. Fully staffed with 22 outrageous episodes and hours of side-splitting bonus features, it’s the must-own collection that caused Time magazine to declare "Never has a lousy job been so much fun."

They keep you wanting for more! 5 out of 5 stars.
2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

I enjoyed very much the first two seasons. But when I read that Mandy Patinkin had left the show I was disappointed and thought that was the end of Criminal Minds. I was so wrong! And don't get me wrong, he was a great asset being the character they most turned to for advise in all areas of the psyque. Joe Mantegna is more likable -sorry Mandy- and though he was brought to the show almost abruptly, they show you how he adapts gradually to everybody and the new way things are done at the BAU since he had been part of it when it began. Throughout the season, Joe Mantegna integrates the team like a piece of a puzzle that didn't quite fit was removed and placed by the perfect one, and now I see that the show will not only survive it's leading character but will do better with the new one.

Now, the plot. Unfortunately, there are so many sick in this world that they will never run out of new ideas for a show. Every episode is good, has new twists, and some episodes are even better that what we would sometimes expect; you are guessing who is going to be the bad guy and how they are going to figure out, by his/her personality or behavior, who committed this or that murder. It's just so wonderfully made that sometimes I think I have a bit of a psychologist in me!

It never gets boring and even though it is about solving mostly murders, I always finish watching with a sense of satisfaction.

The only bad thing is that I watched it so fast that now I am tapping my fingers waiting for the fourth season. Don't miss this one!

Editorial Review:

CRIMINAL MINDS revolves around an elite team of FBI profilers who analyze the country's most twisted criminal minds, anticipating their next moves before they strike again. The Behavioral Analysis Unit's most prominent agent is David Rossi (Joe Mantegna), a founding member of the BAU, who returns to help the team solve new cases, while pursuing some unfinished business of his own. Each member brings his or her own area of expertise to the table as they pinpoint predators' motivations and identify their emotional triggers in the attempt to stop them.
