Ben 10 season three is realy great it is better than all the rest of the Ben10 dvds but not quite as good as the complete season 4. You will also see
new aliens such as Upchuck,Benwolf,Benmummy and Benvictor there are also a couple of new villians. I also suggest the new movie:Ben10 Secret of the Omnitrix

the 3rd season 5 out of 5 stars.
1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

Ben 10 continues to grow in popularity and appeal. This season Ben learns even more about the Omnitrix and the secrets it hides and gains a few new powers in the process. Almost always with comical results but he also gets a chance to see himself, Gwen and Grandpa in the future and what might or might not come true for him. Old enemies return and a few new ones surface as well. It's a show for not only kids but others of all ages as well. I'm sure the next season of Ben 10 will only continue to draw in more people as the word catches on about this quirky yet appealing show.

Editorial Review:

Ben Tennyson was just an average 10-year-old kid – until he discovered a strange alien watch in a crashed meteorite. Called the Omnitrix, this watch gives Ben the ability to transform into any of 10 alien heroes, all the while keeping his 10-year-old personality.

The Batman 4 out of 5 stars.

Ive been checking out new Batman items and I dont recall this series. It won 7 Emmy awards but alot of people like this version of Batman. I read a review for this season and it looked pretty good, so I bought it. The one reason why I wanted to see it for Robert Englund lending his voice to The Riddler. Wow, what a change in The Riddler! As one review put, he does look like Marilyn Manson. I like the changes to the villians and the storys range from good to poor. Not the best version of Batman but still enjoyable.

Editorial Review:

Season 4 features a redesign of Bruce Wayne/Batman, that is more reminiscent of the DCAU (Bruce Timm) Batman. The season also introduces Dick Grayson as Robin (Evan Sabara) into the series as well as other characters such as Lucius Fox (Louis Gossett Jr.). More villains appear such as Tony Zucco (Mark Hamill), Killer Moth (Jeff Bennett), Black Mask (James Remar) & Number One (Diedrich Bader), Rumor (Ron Perlman), Everywhere Man (Brandon Routh), Harley Quinn (Hynden Walch), Francis Grey (Dave Foley), and a new Clayface (Wallace Langham). Batgirl returns this season as well, and is now officially part of Batman's team. Swoop onto this Deluxe 2-Disc Edition with All Season 4 Adventures plus Exciting Extras. Keep in mind the focus 5 out of 5 stars.

This show is great. Everyone needs to keep in mind the intended audience here, namely smaller kids. My 6 and 3 1/2 half year olds love it, and I enjoy watching this series with them. The stories are not that scary and not too complex for young minds to understand. The most complex of this series, the last one with Clay-face took a lot of explanation to my 6 year old.

It's right in the title of these DVD's (Kids Collection). I'm just sorry there aren't any new ones at this point in this line.

Editorial Review:

The Batman is an action-packed animated series that chronicles the life of Bruce Wayne and his alter-ego Batman who lands him in a variety of precarious situations. The newly anointed Caped Crusader of Gotham City confronts updated versions of familiar foes such as The Joker, The Penguin, Catwoman, Mr. Freeze and The Riddler. In this series, the Dark Knight takes his war on crime to the next level utilizing brand new Bat-gadgets and a 21st Century-styled Batmobile operated by his remote-controlled invention the "Batwave." The Batman currently airs on Cartoon Network and Kids WB.

Mediocre Ending To A Solid Series 3 out of 5 stars.
5 of 5 people found this review helpful.

I'll come right out with it; I wasn't enamored with The Batman from the onset. While it was great that somebody has decided to bring the legend of the Dark Night back to Saturday mornings in a time when the nation was collectively just coming out of the first wave of Japanese-inspired card-based animation (Pokemon, Monster Rancher, Dragon Ball Z, etc.). The problem of course was that Bruce Timm and company had done such a commendable job of transferring the moody, dark vigilante -style Tim Burton had introduced fans to in his 1988 film in Batman The Animated Series throughout the 90s. Comparisons were inevitable and while The Batman was brighter and certainly toned down, over time I (like many others) began to come to appreciate the show for what it was (rather than how it compared to TAS). There were ups and downs along the way; the biggest downer for me personally was the introduction and constant use of the "Bat Brats", Robin & Batgirl. The second came in the form of the Rogue's Gallery: a brood so interesting that I would have imagined nobody could possibly screw it up. There has traditionally been way too much usage of the dreadlocked Joker while long-standing staples such as Mr. Freeze and Two-Face have been non-entities.

For the 5th and final season, the producers followed in the footsteps of Bruce Timm and company once again by making the transition over to the Justice League (and the Batman's honorary part-time membership). In and of itself, this was a wise move in my opinion as it opened up a whole new set of situations, partnerships, and villains to battle. This works brilliantly several times throughout the 13-episode season but for the vast majority of the time, the link-up falls way short of the dynamic the 2000's incarnation of Justice League presented to spoiled fans such as myself.

Rather than a continuing story-arc with the Justice League (and that was entirely possible considering the material), the JL episodes are simple stand-alone encounters separated by very typical blow-off episodes that would have fit in very well in the second or third season. Again the writers slipped into Joker mode with a whopping triple back-to-back run while veterans like the Scarecrow, Two-Face, Mr. Freeze, Clay Face, and the superbly done Riddler make not a single appearance. Worse still is the fact that the decently presented Firefly becomes a ball of living radiation early on in the season and is never heard from again.

All in all, in keeping in mind the 6-11 age target demographic, I realize that I'm certainly coming down a bit hard on the show. That said, it's tough to celebrate concepts such as trying to steal an entire building by floating it away or a runaway mine-cart scene straight out of Indiana Jones certainly don't push the limits of creativity either. I conclude that this effort is probably most closely on par with the efforts of the second or third season of the show. The fourth raised the bar so high that I fear there was only one direction for the 5th to follow. I'll certainly miss The Batman and cling to the hope that Cartoon network's new series: Batman The Brave and the Bold will be adequate enough to satisfy the Gotham fix for those of us who simply can't get enough.

keeps on going 5 out of 5 stars.

with better episodes and stories. Also a lot more is explained about Raven's past and why she's the way she is. With the return also of a old Titan enemy that they all thought was long gone. Its good to see each one of the Titans pretty much have their own episode revolving around them. I enjoyed all of them especially the 3 part season ender revolving around a prophecy of Raven being the key that brings about the destruction of the Earth. The Titans all band together to help bring the earth from this destruction and in the process come to a greater understanding of just what Raven's gone through since joining the Titans.

It makes for an excellent season end episode and leaves it wide open for the following season with many possibilities. Great show that parents and kids can get into and enjoy along with everyone else.

Editorial Review:

The series revolves around main team members Robin, Starfire, Cyborg, Beast Boy, and Raven. While it is an action cartoon, the series is also character-driven, with a focus on the main characters' struggles with being teenage superheroes, their mutual friendships, and their limitations. Seasons four is based upon one of the most popular New Teen Titans arcs, "Terror of Trigon". Many characters from the comics, including Aqualad and Speedy, appear throughout the series. 13 action-packed adventures from the hit TV series this Deluxe 2-Disc Edition feature 13 exciting episodes from this smash TV series plus behind-the-scenes bonuses

The Batman- The Complete Second Season....... 5 out of 5 stars.
0 of 0 people found this review helpful.

Season Two of The Batman pitted Batman against the likes of: The Riddler, Ragdoll, Hugo Strange, Killer Croc, Spellbinder, Solomon Grundy among other notorious villans. During which, Commissioner Gordon comes into the show's setting, with the departure of Ellen Yin(whom you all should know as Ethan Bennett's partner on the force). The Batsignal is introduced, as well, which is especially cool since it is a part of the Batman mythos. The show is starting to pick up a little more steam as far as episodes are concerned and more villans are introduced. I must say, I really like the show alot. I plan on continuing getting every season that I can. Look back here at Amazon for more reviews from me.....Same Bat-time, Same Bat-channel.... ;)

Batgirl, that's what.

I really did like the first season and I loved the second. So, I was really excited to see the third. I've never been a big fan of batman having a sidekick, but I did like the fact that they were bringing in Batgirl before Robin. That is something that's never been done before. The good stories are still there but the impact isn't. There are some very great episodes in this season too, probably better than any on the second, but there are also some that are just downright bad. Batgirl really did bring the show downhill, to me that is. Her dialogue is horrible, I know she is a kid, but it's almost like they keep trying to remind you with making her talk constantly. I will admit, about halfway through (The Laughing Cats), she did start to grow on me a little. She was starting to feel like she belonged. I guess the series just couldn't think of a better way to bring her in.

I am also very very very tired of (I hate to say this) the Joker. His crimes in this season were horrible. I'm a huge Joker fan and loved the episodes he was in last season, but this time it seemed like they were just using him because he is the joker. The episode "Brawn" just seemed like it could have been a lot better if they would have just used Bane. We do need more of Bane, and I hope to see him later in the series. I was glad to see that they cut down on Penguin a little. Didn't like the first episode with him (A Knight to Remember) but I did like The Icy Depths a lot.

I also liked the build up to Hugo Strange, and was very happy to finally see his character come out. I also did like the idea of someone going after Bruce Wayne.

My Top 5 episodes were
1. Gotham's Ultimate Criminal Mastermind
- D.A.V.E was a great idea for a villain and to put Hugo behind it was even a better one
2. A Fistful of Felt
- A classic Ventriloquist story, with Strange pulling the strings.
3. Thunder
- The one episode that I did not mind Batgirl at all. Everything about this one just seemed right.
4. RPM
- A good story to introduce a new batmobile
5. The Icy Depths
- Even though I do not like this version of Freeze that much, he is in some pretty good episodes.

So maybe after I watch this again, I might start to appreciate it more but at the time being this is how I feel about this season. Also please remember, these are my opinions and you may feel different. I would still recommend it for what good there is.

Teen Titans- The Complete Third Season........ 5 out of 5 stars.
1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

Teen Titans- The Complete Third Season sees the Titans going up against Slade yet again as well as Brother Blood. This season ranges from the very humorous(Bunny Raven, Revolution) to the more intense(Deception, Haunted, X, Titans East). Yet, what I like most is the special feature-Know your Foe- which is a list of the villians the Titans encountered in the third season; like Brother Blood, Professor Chang, Mad Mod and Mumbo Jumbo. I wish they would have more special features on these DVDs like Season 1, that would give me more incentive to buy them. As it stands, though, I'm happy with what I'm given.

Season Three is actually pretty good, Probably the best season thus far. Definitely worth getting if I were you.

The Teen Titans are back for Season 2! 5 out of 5 stars.
1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

After Season 1 expanded on introducing the five main characters (Robin,Beast Boy, Raven, Starfire, and Cyborg) and their personalities and attitudes towards each other, it was now time for the show to take on a different storyline. The creators of the cartoon decided to take one of the biggest storylines from The New Teen Titans comic series "Judas Contract" and adapt it to a younger audience in the cartoon. While making the adaptation kid-friendly, the creators did not loose sight of what the "Judas Contract" was all about. This makes for an excellent season of Teen Titans that both comic and cartoon lovers could enjoy!

This season introduces the character of Terra Markov. In the episode 'Terra' the Teen Titans meet the geomancer and Beast Boy's love is practically instant for her when she laughs at one of his jokes (which is quite rare for the changeling). It is shown in this episode that there is an obvious connection and possible future relationship between the two. Another speculation one might point out is Slade's foreshadowing quote that "he found her first". This episode is the gateway for many twists and turns in the plotline of this dramatic storyline. Many emotions will be played around with and the Titans will have to face the challenge of this new member. Is the Titans new friend really what they expect? Or is there more to the character of 'Terra'?

**Key episodes in finding out what Terra's secret is are Terra,Titan Rising,Betrayal,Aftershock Part 1, and Aftershock Part 2.

Now beyond the main storyline of Season 2 which is the 'Terra Arc', are the filler episodes. Another great thing about this series is that a lot of the filler episodes are entertaining even though they don't pertain to the main arc. One of my personal favorites is 'Fear Itself". At this point, not much is known about Raven but this episode reveals a different side to the dark character that I believe anyone can relate to. Another episode 'Transformation' which centers around Starfire and her weird Tamaranean traditions, sends a good message to kids everywhere about how one should not be judged based on their appearances.

Overall, this Season is excellent and I recommend it to any Titans fan or newcomer. With dramatic storylines like the Terra Arc, and good natured episodes like 'Transformation', both adults and kids can sit down and thouroughly enjoy this cartoon together.

Editorial Review:

Dangerous enemy or lifelong friend? That's the question of Season 2 when Terra, a free-spirited teen with awesome earth-manipulating powers, rolls into town. As a skilled fighter, she makes a powerful addition to the Titans' fight against crime, and as a fun-loving, no-holds-barred hero, she jives instantly with their team chemistry. But the Titans aren't the only ones interested in recruiting the new girl. Robin's archnemesis Slade is on the prowl for an apprentice, and the combination of Terra's volatile powers and personal vulnerability make her a perfect target for his twisted plans. Trusting this newcomer could prove to be a fatal mistake for the Teen Titans! Throughout 13 action-packed adventures from the hit TV series (and Bombastic Bonuses too), this Deluxe 2-Disc Edition is earth-shattering entertainment!

Teen Titans Season 1 4 out of 5 stars.

Good solid gritty plots in most episodes.
Mainly based on 1980s New Teen Titans comics, but 1960s original Titans villain "The Mad Mod" is used as well.
Aqualad guest stars in "Deep Six".
DC villain "Deathstroke the Terminator" predominates the series, referred to only as "Slade."
Only a short featurette really in the extras. Would have liked to see a commentary, but I'm not complaining.
It's a good package.

Editorial Review:

The Teen Titans compose an elite group of five heroes Robin, Starfire, Raven, Cyborg and Beast Boy that unlike their Super Hero predecessors, have no secret identities under which to disguise themselves.
