Wonderful trip down Memory Lane - the show was my favorite at the time. Interesting to look back so many years later and laugh at the 80's and reconsider it all from an older perspective.
Good Guys vs. Bad Guys 5 out of 5 stars.

I loved this Manhattan-based series when it was on in the 1980s. Edward Woodward was great as a British gentleman, retired special agent who had worked for "The Company" (CIA?). Because he felt bad about all the stuff he had done for The Company (killed, etc.), he decided to try to help people who had nowhere to turn. Because he was a private citizen, he could tweek the rules a little and work around the legal system. He helped many people against blackmailers, petafiles, rapists, drug familes, other criminals. Money was not a problem either. Most of the time he helped people for nothing or for a gratis favor. You got the impression that he made so much money working for the company that he never needed another cent (even living at Manhattan prices). Wonderful show, especially when the bad guys think nobody can touch them. There are 5 CDs of 22 or 23 episodes in this package and the package includes The Pilot plus a commentary from the series creator and an episode from Season Two. The picture clarity is great, too. Episodes are generally about 45/50 minutes long.
