A Suite DVD & Extras for Kids 3 out of 5 stars.

This DVD contains 4 episodes of the Disney Channel series, "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody." The show is set in the Tipton Hotel in Boston. Regular characters include identical twins Zack and Cody (Dylan and Cole Sprouse), hotel heiress London Tipton (Brenda Song), as well as candy counter girl Maddie (Ashley Tisdale), single mother Carey (Kim Rhodes), and the hotel's manager Mr. Mosbey (Phill Lewis). The four episodes featured on this DVD begin with: "Lip Synchin' In The Rain," which has the gang putting on their version of "High School Musical." Inside gag is that Ashley Tisdale starred in the actual HSM as Sharpay, however in "Zack & Cody," nobody sees that Maddie looks anything like Sharpay. Even though Maddie is the best singer and dancer, rival London gets the role of Sharpay because her dad is rich. Of course there is a happy ending and the gang works together to make the show a hit. #2 is "Arwin That Came To Dinner." Arwin is the hotel repairman/engineer who is distraught that his mother has moved out of the apartment that they share...and Arwin is clearly in his thirties. The twins and their mom help Arwin get over his mom fixation and find true love by converting his apartment into a cool bachelor pad. #3 is "Orchestra," which features a Russian Violin prodigy in the high school orchestra who comes between Cody and his girlfriend Barbra. 1970's blonde bombshell Susan Blakely has a role as the orchestra conductor, Mrs. Madigan. #4 is "A Tale of Two Houses." Zack & Cody's dad is back in town due to a play he is performing in. The twins scheme to crash his new apartment with their girlfriends while dad is working, and unbeknownst to them, they pick the same evening. 4 is a definitely a crowd, and even more people decide to drop in.

Extras include "Twin-Tastic," a featurette with the twins getting interviewed by Brenda Song (London), telling what it's like to be twins. No great revelations here, but it's still nice to see how natural the kids are what a nice rapport they have, even off camera. It is also interesting to hear about identical twins...the truths, the myths, and the entertaining stories that the boys share. A gag reel with bloopers and blunders is also included for good measure, as well as a number of Disney sneak Movie and DVD previews.

This show is definitely aimed at kids and teens and is thoroughly enjoyable; lots of physical humor and pratfalls, juvenile humor, and an ensemble cast that plays well together. Although Zack & Cody are obviously going through puberty (and trying to get the girls), there really aren't any scenes that would not be safe for kids to watch.

I am 9 years old and im a girl so if ur 9 and a girl u will love this dvd .Its so good and its right for my age.the movie has most of the disney channel characters like Hannah Montana,Zack and Cody,and Raven.

I bought this for my daughter who loves all these shows and she just loves it! There's a lot of episodes on this DVD which is really nice. If your child is a fan of all these shows I would definetly buy it. Very cute and very family friendly.

My daughter was really excited to get this video. But, could use more extras, such as video of the kids in their real life or more interviews with the cast members. My daughter, 7, loves these guys, so I guess we will shopping for future video releases!

I bought this DVD for my younger brother and he loved it. I enjoyed it too. We watched four episoides in one night. A really fun clean show.

..Cause this series is a terrible downer. The jokes are rarely funny and the show consists of shallowly-attractive celebrities who are rich somewhat spoiled and get their way nearly every time. None of them act that well, and London is the most spoiled, terrible actress that Disney has ever spat out at us. I totally despise her stupid, ditzy air-headed persona. It makes me sick, how stupid she has to act to get 10 year olds to laugh.

I didn't like the program when it first arrived on the Disney Channel over two and a half years ago, and I grew to loathe it, episode after episode after episode.

Watch Lizzy McGuire, Kim Possible, That's So Raven, or The Proud Family; they're much better, well-rounded Disney programs.

This really is upsetting. The first dvd had several shows, I think maybe 5 of them. This one has only 3!! And, some of them are old ones, not the newer shows. My son and I were both disappointed. The silly "game" and the short little blooper spot do not make up for the stingy amount of actual tv shows. So sad. We're still big Suite Life fans, but I don't know if we'll buy another dvd.

I am a parent who watches the Suite Life of Zack and Cody with my daughter occasionally. I have seen enough episodes to know that these are not the best picks that Disney could have released on DVD.


The first episode has the boys at their youngest. The show is better in my opinion as the two boys get older. However, for a child, the battle of the bands idea is fun. London and Maddie are actually more intresting to watch in the earlier episodes, and it's always fun to see how London screws up even when she means well.

The second episode is when the boys run for class president. I liked the way Maddie and London get involved to help the boys. It was also nice to see Zack stand up for Cody at the end showing some family loyalty. I also liked the outrageous ideas that Zack and London came up with to get Zack elected. The pajama picture of Cody was a low blow but funny.

The last episode focuses on Maddie and London the most. Both girls throw sweet 16 parties for themselves on the same day. It forces the gang to pick which party to go to. As usual London over does it and makes a mess of things. The girls friendship gets strained, but ends up ok in the end.

Overall the episodes are just ok. I have seen better episodes on Disney channel. I also think Disney went cheap on this release. Three episodes is hardly worth the price of buying it. The extra features of the gag reel and Brenda Song doing the DVD game is ok. But personally I think Disney would have been better off putting a couple more episodes on the disc. After all thats why we really want to buy the DVD in the first place. Episodes that would have been better to add are the ones where the boys let the bugs loose in the tipton, or when Maddie and London have the fake baby for the weekend. Those stand out as funny episodes.

SO two stars is all I can give this release which skimped on the episodes and did'nt pick the best of the lot. If you really like Zack and Cody and want to get this release, try to by it online. Used and as cheap as possible. The taking over the Tipton release is better in my opinion and has more episodes.

This is a great addition to your Christmas collection. The kids will love it. Contains great episodes of the best Disney shows ever, sure to get you in the Christmas spirit. Hopefully they will make a Halloween DVD special now. Highly recommended.

On the suite life, never before scene? I don't think so, i had scene taht episode before i bought this movie.... i'm not exactly impressed. I saved up my money to find out that i had seen the "Never Before Seen Episode" Waist of money! But actually i bought the sweet suite victory thing.... i'm looking forward to getting it in the mail. Well, i'm also THINKING, not buying thinking about buying Hannah montana pop star profile... it sounds good! I'm a fan of Hannah Montana, Also The suit life. Dylon and cole play Zack and Cody...... There so cute! I never said that.
