Where are the seasonal sets of this fine show. They're doing the seasonal sets of Spongebob for crying out loud.

I have to agree with the other reviewers. 1 out of 5 stars.

Nickelodeon. Make. Season Sets.

While i am no fan of the show now, The episodes from the
1991-1993 era were the best.

Make. Season sets.

please?

This isn't good enough! 4 out of 5 stars.
2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

The only reason I'm giving this DVD collection a 4 is simply because it is the Rugrats. The Rugrats was the best animated show Nick ever had, period. It's such a mistake that towards it's end they just slowly let it dwindle and were unable to interest their new audience in All Grown Up. The Rugrats are my memory of the 1990s and my childhood, and it makes me angry that Nick hasn't released seasons of it. PUT OUT THE SEASONS!

Nickelodeon was very awesome when Rugrats were on TV! 5 out of 5 stars.

I loved Rugrats! It was my favorite show! Nickelodeon was awesome when Rugrats were on TV! I have the videos. Rugrats is still my favorite show! Nickelodeon isn't the same! I wish it was in the 90's again.

Great Holiday Fun 5 out of 5 stars.
4 of 5 people found this review helpful.

This is a great set of some of the best Rugrat shows. Fun for everyone from infant to adult. Some of the best holiday cartoons that are out there. Great explanations of Kwanzaa, and Chanukah. Hilarious Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Halloween shows.

Not All Episodes Included 3 out of 5 stars.
4 of 4 people found this review helpful.

The one reason I had wanted this set the most was for the first Halloween episode where the babies scare the older children in the haunted house. I had hoped it would be there, no such luck.
The first DVD Disc "Halloween", includes "Curse of the Wereruff" the only true Halloween feature. The episode has the gang attending a holiday theme park, where Chuckie fears becoming a werewolf.
Tommy's Brother, Dill is in this story too.
"Ghost Story" has the characters in round adding parts to a silly, and sometimes a bit creepy story.
"Aunt Marian" the babies think a visiting aunt is really from outer space.
"Sleep Trouble" has Tommy and Chuckie worried about the Sand Man, after hearing a story from Tommy's Dad, Stu.
"Spike's Night Scare" a turkey's giving Spike a run for his money.
Disc two "Turkey & Mistletoe" is a better set. "Babes In Toyland has Angelica hunting down Santa with her long list, as Stu's robotic, and electrical land fall apart.
"The Turkey Who Came To Dinner" has a moral attached. This episode has all the main characters. Tommy, Chuckie, Angelica and the Twins "Phil and Lil find Grandpa's winning, and uncooked turkey.
Angelica tricks the crew into being in her holiday parade, and not telling the grownups about the turkey.
The Rugrats try to keep their feathered friend safe, and hope to come up with an escape plan. Each attempt fails, and the adults soon see this turkey.
The grownups blame their day's disappointment on the turkey. The babies surround their new friend, protecting him. Their actions shed light on the true meaning of the holiday.
"A Rugrat's Kwanzaa" focuses on Susie Carmichael. Everyone she feels has a trophy, but her. Without an award makes celebration difficult.
"The Santa Experience" has the toddlers going to a log cabin for Christmas.
An earlier trip to see a store Santa sends Angelica into a frenzy. Not impressed with the store's free Christmas presents she cons the babies to trade toys for each other, losing their importance.
Hearing that bad children get coal for Christmas changes her train of thought.
"Chanukah" has the youngsters assisting Grandpa,Boris, in a theatrical retelling of the holiday.

Rugrats 5 out of 5 stars.
7 of 7 people found this review helpful.

Any Rugrats lover is sure to love these movies! I rented them before because I think the show is just too cute and knew the kids would enjoy it. To my surprise, even my husband has become a fan of the Rugrats after viewing the first movie where little Dill arrives. We also enjoyed their trip to Paris! and we reciently bought Rugrats Go Wild! and are now adding the first movie and the trip to Paris to our DVD home library.
We feel that any parent who enjoys cartoons as much as their kids, will certinly enjoy watching these movies anytime with their childern.

I love Lil 4 out of 5 stars.

Could've been better, but still an overall good movie 4 out of 5 stars.
1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

I, like most of the people commenting here, grew up watching Rugrats since it first came out on TV and I personally still like to watch it to this day as a closet hobbie of mine. That said, my feelings for this movie when I first watched it were good and bad, but overall positive.

To start with the turnoffs, I was surprised a G rated movie had things such as Tommy's diaper falling off and mooning everyone while dancing on top of the record player at his Grandpa's wedding, or Coco's wedding dress being ripped apart and exposing her underwear. I didn't think stuff like that needed to be in there and thought the movie was a little bit grosser than the potty humor found in the regular TV episodes.

I also thought it was a bit of a stretch for the babies to be capable of operating the giant Reptar robot. Though I still was entertained by all the havoc it created by rampaging through town, I just couldn't see how a bunch of infants would be smart enough, let alone be big enough to control it. Sure the movie is made for kids, but even my younger siblings thought that was wierd and didn't make sense.

Now for the good stuff. I thought Klasky Csupo did a good job of integrating pop culture parodies such as Lady and the Tramp, King Kong, and my favorite of all, The God Father. I couldn't stop laughing when I first saw Angelica appear as "The Bobfather" (and believe me she fits that role perfectly) or when Dil first drooled all over her hand. The pop culture parodies were one of the things that made the show great in the first place, and in my opinion the writers did a good job of inserting more of it into this movie.

Coco Lebouche also made a pretty good villian. When you love to hate the bad guy in a movie you know they're good and I just loved her coniving manipulative personality. It's always fun to see those kind of villians get what they deserve at the end and she definately got hers (In fact I wish they had kept the alternate ending [one of the bonus features] in which she was stuck working at a deoderant factory and being grossed out by that low life job she was forced to work).

Most importantly of all, this movie has a wonderful family values aspect to it. Chuckie is my favorite character, and I've always felt sorry for him in being the only baby in the group to not have a Mom. So to see him finally get a really good one in Kira Watanabe, as well as a new sister in Kimi was very touching to me. It's this kind of stuff that I wish more cartoons had these days.

It's amazing! 4 out of 5 stars.
6 of 6 people found this review helpful.

There's a lot of action in this movie. I like when Spike talks...it was really funny! I like that Debbie and Angelica meet each other, because they're alike...they're both mean and bossy. It was nice to see Angelica get bossed around for a change. I didn't think this movie was too scary. My brother and I really enjoyed this movie.

Not as funny or creative or whimsical as the first two! 2 out of 5 stars.
2 of 4 people found this review helpful.

This Rugrats movie is the worst of the three. Obviously, it was made for promotion and cash more than anything. Nickelodeon didn't consider the plot in the process, so the movie suffers. The plot is complex, yet it still manages to be too simple to be taken seriously, and it has about fifty holes and sub-plots. The movie is too complex for even a 10-year-old to grasp. Since Rugrats is aimed for 3-9 year olds, they won't get it. The main promotions for the movie were the scratch and sniff sequence [also, Burger King promotion to go with that], and the fact that Spike would now talk. Hah! Spike talked in the episode of the series about Chuckie's dreams. Besides, smelling some disgusting card [that you can smell anytime, not during the movie] isn't fun. The burger smells more like spoiled milk. Anyway, the movie is fluffy and light and tries for a few forced laughs but it dosen't happen. Debbie's well-publicized line and the "That is so wrong!" line, and the Wedgie-dance, are among the stupidest things I have ever seen. Maybe an 8-year-old would disagree. Being 12, I found the humour pretty dumb. So you're aware, I love the series. This movie just wasn't creative at all, it was more of a Thornberry-type flick. And finally, it just isn't whimsical or special in any way. Not recommended for anything except a rental from the video store, if that.

The Rugrats family vacation takes an exotic detour when their boat capsizes and they become shipwrecked on a deserted tropical island. With the jungle as their new backyard, the babies reace wildly from one dangerous adventure to the next…soon to discover that someone else is on the island. It's The Wild Thornberrys...on an island adventure of their own! When these two families get together, the excitement really starts!

Not Very Good... "Snow White" Is Better 2 out of 5 stars.
4 of 5 people found this review helpful.

First off, I wanted to rate this DVD higher. I love the Rugrats and I really want the creators to keep making more specials! The first "Tales" movie was pretty good. But the truth is, "Three Jacks" wasn't so great. I don't know... I guess I expected a better Rugrats movie, especially since it was delayed for so long. This film skews to an even younger audience than the TV show. Honestly, I felt like this one was made for the Nick Jr. crowd...

Some negative points:
* There are NO grown-ups in this movie (they were present in Snow White, so what gives?).
* Spike the dog is not here either (but Fluffy is).
* The cow character, Aunt Moo, was made the star of this movie... She is given too much screen time, way more than Angelica and Harold. This is my biggest complaint.
* Susie sings at the end... a la "All Grown Up".
* Polka music (we also learn that Phil hates polkas).
* Dil still makes many 'poopie' remarks.

On the plus side:
* Phil cracks plenty of jokes.
* Angelica really makes a great evil giant. She even has her "All Grown Up" music.
* The film is pretty long, and has 2 bonus episodes.

If you have a young kid, he or she will definitely enjoy the movie. If you must buy a "Tales" DVD, "Snow White" is the better of the two. On an end note, I hope this poor movie is not the swan song for Rugrats!

Editorial Review:

The Rugrats do it again with another never-before seen direct-to-video Rugrats movie, "Rugrats Tales From the Crib: Three Jacks and a Beanstalk," a Rugrats styled version of the classic fairytale, Jack and the Beanstalk.

Here thar' be (diapered) dwarves! 5 out of 5 stars.
4 of 4 people found this review helpful.

We purchased this DVD a while after it aired on Nickelodeon. We love the DVD and I will explain its features.

In this DVD, Taffy the babysitter tells the Rugrats the classic story of Snow White. Susie stars as Snow White, Angelica stars as the evil queen, and Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, Dil, Kimi and Spike star as the 7 dwarves.

From there, the fairy tale becomes an exciting journey, full of fun events and great music. Songs include "Do It Together" and the hilarious "Diaper Factory Song."

Also included on this DVD are 2 episodes from a new Rugrats series "Preschool Daze" featuring Susie and Angelica. We love the episodes and hope these and more will soon air on Nickeloden.

Over all, 5 stars. Simply a must-have for those who enjoy the Rugrats.

Editorial Review:

In RUGRATS: TALES FROM THE CRIB: SNOW WHITE, Angelica Pickles takes on the role of the Evil Queen in this version of the fairy tale classic, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. In this exciting adventure, the beautiful princess (Susie Carmichael) and her adorable dwarf-babies (The Rugrats) foil the queen and show the entire kingdom that friendship conquers all.
