This was one of the best TV series ever. If you like comedy, politics, and drama, you should check this out. I have the entire series on DVD and I cannot tell you how many times I've watched it. This series has massive replayability so it's worth the buy. It is also not "dumbed down" so they deal with a lot of hot-button topics and you can actually learn a little of how the government actually works and how cutthroat life is like in Washington, D.C.

The first few seasons and the last two seasons are the best. There are a good deal of special features and this season was amazing. It has a liberal bent so if you are conservative you may not like this show as much as someone who is more liberal. That said, I still high recommend this series and this first season to anyone and everyone.

I thought the first season could not be beat! I was wrong! This new season had a great new cast of characters (you will LOVE Ainsley Hayes). The plots are even better than the first season, and you will go online and purchase the third season before you are halfway done, just so that it will be at your home by the time you finish. This is a truly great season!

I agree, there are not many shows out there that the whole family can sit and watch together! We love watching the Waltons with our kids and they enjoy it as much as we do!

This is the point of the waltons where the main cast is GONE ALL GONE. Grandpa is dead, John curtis is dead, Grandma is not getting much appearence due to her lack of speech, the mother is back for only 12/24 episodes and after waiting approx. 3 seasons for the return of John-Boy, he's finally back AS A NEW ACTOR. This is not the Waltons we love. That is 5 CHARACTERS CHANGED. This season is a waste.I can't talk about the set because it is not yet released but THE CAST IS GOING DOWN IN QUALITY. I rated this a 2 instead of 1 because at least we get Jim-Bob, the Dad, Ben, Jason, Mary Ellen , Aaron and SOME OF MOM AND GRANDMA.

I love the Waltons. I have all 7 seasons so far and will get season 8 just as soon as it is released! My favorite character was Grandpa - so I am sad that he passed away so soon in the series. However, these are just as great as well. Season 9 is the last season - HOWEVER - they made several movies after that. I hope these movies are included as a Season 10 (so to speak). Just like Little House on the Prairie made their last season with their movies.

I highly recommend this series for those who appreciate things that can elevate conversation and raise the level of the debate. The West Wing reminds me of how good TV programming and writing could be. I loved watching this series both originally as they aired as well as having the ability to watch them at my leisure.

This season of the West Wing is full of drama as Bartlett goes through a campaign, Leo faces Congressional hearings, and Josh pursues the stunning Mary-Louise Parker.

Every episode is fun, witty, and exciting. You really get to know the characters better in this season than you ever have in the previous two. For die hard West Wing fans, you will love this season!

I absolutely loved this season of Weeds. I bought it recently, and the picture quality is amazing in HD. Season 2 of Weeds is a must buy for anyone who liked the first Season. It only goes up from here in the story line... and leaves you with an amazing cliffhanger ending. Buy it.

My DVD did not arrive in the window of time that Amazon estimated so I emailed the sender who was very proactive in finding out why the DVD had not arrived. It turns out that the package simply got boomeranged back and fourth across the country a few times before it reached me (gotta love the US Postal Service). Of course, this was at no fault of the sender, who was very friendly and willing to help fix the problem!

The package arrived in good condition. The shipping was much slower than previous purchases. I was sent a tracking number immediately, but no information was available for a week after purchase.

Don't get me wrong though, this is still a good season. It has a liberal bent so if you are conservative you may not like this show as much as someone who is more liberal. I had heard about the show recently from some friends who, uh, knew about a previous business I'd been involved in many years ago... I figured what the heck and from the pilot episode to the end of the first season, I simply could not stop watching- I stayed up all night! The show reveals what veils suburban America hides behind, and to a certain extent, what it's hiding. More insightful- and more fun- than Desperate Housewives, this is what Kevin Spacey might well have done with American Beauty if he'd been working in a series format. The entire cast is uniformly excellent and colorful- it's as if I had described a bunch of my old buddies to the producers. There is more real America here than all of reality tv put together. I ordered the rest of the available seasons the moment the menu came up showing that I'd sat through every episode. I hope they're this good! Warning! This show is more addicting than growing your own- take it from someone who knows!

"Life" isn't fair...it's "life"... 5 out of 5 stars.

Just finished the set...3 days. I find irony in the fact that one of the most beautiful things ever created was born of ugliness. If aliens were to come down to Earth, curious about what it meant to be human, I would show them "The Wire". I don't feel much hope, day to day. It's tough to be positive. Erosion. Winners and losers. You can't win in this life without being a little evil it seems. No good deed and all of that...just watch the show. It's a gift in a world that eats corporate s^%t and begs for more. Embrace the truth, do what you can...subtract from the evil, don't add. All you can do...maybe you'll make it...

..but probably not.

Great stuff. I feel like I know the whole g'dam town of Baltimore, from top to bottom. Seriously, it's like these people aren't even actors. In fact, you can't even imagine them as actors, being away from the set, that's how good they are. It doesn't even seem possible that they're acting. There's probably not too much higher praise you can give an actor than this. This is like going to see a great movie at the Cineplex, only the effing thing is 100 hours long, and you get to watch it go on and on, and the quality never goes down-- just stays at the same high level. Thanks guys. Great work.

In this season you can tell the cast is beginning to grow tired of the show. The writing is also not at it's best. However, this still remains one of the best shows to grace the T.V. screen. There are a few standout episodes and the characters begin preparing for Season 8, their final season. I particularly felt 'Grace' led many of the episodes in the season. While she isn't my favorite character, I felt she helps make this season more enjoyable. Definitely worth your money and certainly a must for any collecter. The Thanksgiving episode with 'Vince's' family is one of the best of all 8 seasons, which makes this a must have! Will & Grace' remains a winner!
