this is the best- the show was good, this movie based on the tvshow is great- there are not enough words to express the joy and fun - this is a keeper, to watch over and over again

Very funny movie 5 out of 5 stars.

Trailer Park Boys is the story about some lovable losers. The characters are taken from a popular Canadian sitcom. I have to check out whether any of the TV shows are available on dvd. If you prefer to watch shows like "My Name is Earl" or "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" or even "Seinfield" than shows about wealthy people like "Dallas" or the upwardly mobile like "Friends", try this out. These are basically non-violent petty criminals just trying to take care of their friends and families, their cats, and pay for their bad habits like cigarettes, booze and "weed." And they are so inept at it, that they are constantly in trouble.

Editorial Review:

From producer Ivan Reitman comes Trailer Park Boys: The Movie— a comedy full of drugs, alcohol and strippers. When the raunchy, ruckus residents of Sunnyvale Trailer Park, Ricky, Julian and Bubbles end up in prison, they hatch a plan to pull off the "Big Dirty". With world wide box office success and a hit TV show, Trailer Park Boys: The Movie is guaranteed to be a smash hit!

Mixed bag 5 out of 5 stars.
1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

Whereas Vol. 1 of this series has three episodes, this disk has four--and a mixed bag they are. But then Twilight Zone was always unpredictable.

Burgess Meredith stars in episode #1 as a bookish bank clerk who can't find time for his passion, reading. The writing is a bit over the top. There's a dominating wife who snatches away his newspaper, a bank president who chastises him--and then there's an H-bomb that destoys the world while the hero is hiding in the bank vault to have some privacy for his passion. When he exits the vault, the world is in shambles, but there are no fires and apparently no radioactive perils. Now the little man has time to read, except...

The second episode is about an alien spacecraft that sweeps across the sky over a middle class street. Lights in houses flicker on and off. Cars won't start and then start mysteriously. A boy says that spacemen may have planted look-alikes among the residents, and they all begin to suspect one another, with violence ensuing. This didactic piece is really about the anti-communist investigations of the cold war, in which people, especially in Hollywood, were all but encouraged to suspect one another of being Reds. Thus, the real damage was not done by the communists but by those who planted the seeds of suspicion and by those who ran around like Chicken Little.

I liked the third episode best. William Shatner, recovering from a nervous breakdown, is on a commercial plane with his wife. Sitting in a seat over the wing, he sees a monstrous figure outside, a figure that no one else can see. When the monster begins to tear up the cowling over the engine, Shatner feels he must do something to save the plane from disaster. The outcome is a very excellent surprise.

Lastly, there is a good story of a jet commercial aircraft that gets lost in time for unexplained reasons. When it descends to land in New York, the city has disappeared and dinosaurs roam the landscape. The pilot takes the aircraft up through the clouds and then descends to try again. He contacts the airport but traffic control can't understand what a jet is or where the plane is from. Flying over Flushing Meadows, the people aboard see the trylon and perisphere of the 1939 World's Fair....

It's too bad that this sort of excellence is missing from today's TV set, with its so-called "reality" shows and dance contests. Twilight Zone made viewers think, and apparently that is too much to ask now. We are fortunate that the old shows were saved and you can see them again--or for the first time.

Editorial Review:

Episodes: "Time Enough at Last" (Ep. 8, November 20, 1959) - A bookworm (Burgess Meredith) yearns for more time to read--then a nuclear holocaust leaves him alone in the world with lots of time, plenty to read, and one ironic twist! "The Monsters are Due on Maple Street" (Ep. 22, March 4, 1960) - Inexplicable events cause the residents of quiet Maple Street to erupt into rioting. The residents suspect an alien invasion has occurred. If so, where are the alien monsters? "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet" (Ep. 123, October 11, 1963) - A salesman (William Shatner) recovering from a nervous breakdown spots a gremlin on the wing of his plane. When he attempts to alert the others, his nightmare truly begins! "The Odyssey of Flight 33" (Ep. 54, February 24, 1961) - Flight 33 picks up a peculiar tailwind and is blown off course. After apparently correcting the problem, the flight arrives at its destination--a billion years ahead of schedule!

The Boys are Back!! 5 out of 5 stars.
1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

This season is great too. Cory and Trevor are missed but they still made a good season. Phil and his burps are great and Bubbles is in rare form. I was happy with it. Now if they'd only do another season!

Another instant classic! 4 out of 5 stars.

TPB is so awesome! I gotta nail this for a star deduction due to the lack of Corey and Trevor, and this can be a little too 'scripted' at times, but Sebastian Bach's cameo saved it from becoming too stiff. "Holy s**t I love model railroading! Rock and f***ing roll!" Just hilarious!

Park Fan 5 out of 5 stars.

Great Show 5 out of 5 stars.

TPB always makes me laugh. I love the off the wall twisted humor. I just bought Season 6 & 7 from Amazon.ca for less than the price of one season on Amazon in the U.S. The U.S. and Canada are the same region so why the big price difference? Crazy........

Editorial Review:

Julian, Ricky and Bubbles are at it again! Season 7 revolves around the Boys cross-border shenanigans: the cheap price of dope in Canada means the guys have to look for opportunities south of the border to make a profit. Bubbles decides he needs a hobby

Not the best season but still funny. 4 out of 5 stars.
0 of 0 people found this review helpful.

That '70s Show - Season Seven isn't a standout season, there were a lot of changes this season, Topher Grace left the show at the end of this season. Donna colors her gorgeous red hair blonde (and she still has it that way!) Fez and Kelso become roommates, and Hyde finds out his biological father is African-American (one of the dumbest decisions ever made on this show!). There are some good episodes but a lot of plots feel empty and forced. Season eight is a lot worse than seven but this show is truly creative.

My reviews 4 out of 5 stars.

If you like the "That '70s Show you will enjoy this season 7. Lots of fun.

Should had been the last season 4 out of 5 stars.

The writting was slipping A little in this season compaired to the first 6.
But it was still A good season.Season 7 was the last season for the original cast And thats why it should had been the last season ever

If only this were the final season 5 out of 5 stars.

Many fans of That 70's Show wish this was the final season, as the show limped through a disappointing 8th. But there was definitely no drop-off in the quality here. Buy the DVD's, because you'll want to watch them over and over, and the syndicated re-runs only show some episodes.

still great after 6 seasons 5 out of 5 stars.
2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

This show is great. If your a fan of the show you definetly need to purchase this season. It is well worth it. I thought it might have been the most funny out of all the seasons. The last episode was a bad bad cliff hanger though so you better get the seventh one also. Overall great entertainment.

That 70's Show-Season 6 1 out of 5 stars.
1 of 6 people found this review helpful.

The content of that 70's Show remains the same! Eric and Donna are up to the same old tricks, Kelso is as dumb as ever, Hyde is seemingly still a conspiracy theorist, Jackie is Jackie and Fez is the pervert he has been throughout.

The review I write is about the product I received from Amazon. This is the second time that this series has been purchased from here and the first time I thought it was my DVD Player; however, it is not. The last 2 discs of both series that were purchased are defective. It stops and starts and stops and doesn't start when you play them. I will not purchase another series from Amazon. Cavaet to all!

Another get season 5 out of 5 stars.
1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

Another greta season, this one with the added drama of Eric and Donna's breakup, crammed with more features than before!

The break-up of Donna and Eric. 5 out of 5 stars.
0 of 0 people found this review helpful.

That '70s Show - Season four is another excellent season. The first episode focuses on the aftermath of Donna and Eric's emotional break-up. I love this season, every character is engaging and charming but with an edge. Laura Prepon's acting really took flight this season, she's a great and thoughtful actress. Look for Luke Wilson who plays Michael's jerk brother Casey. I highly recommend this heart-tugging and outrageous season. Enjoy!

As funny as ever 5 out of 5 stars.

This series just keeps getting better and better. If you enjoyed the first three, you'll love the fourth.

Editorial Review:

For Eric, Kelso, Jackie, Hyde, Donna and Fez, a group of high school teens who spend most of their time hanging out in Eric’s basement, life in the ’70s isn’t always so groovy. But between trying to figure out the meaning of life, avoiding their parents, and dealing with out-of-control hormones, they’ve learned one thing for sure: they’ll always get by with a little help from their friends.

Nice to see old Friends! 5 out of 5 stars.
1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

My favorite of all the sitcoms. I've almost memorized the lines in the old series. This is a lovely update. Not quite as funny as the original, but I'm glad to own it. I'll watch it again and again.

Penelope Keith is the best. She once made a show called Spider's Web. It was filmed more like a play than a movie and was very enjoyable. Why isn't it on DVD?

Our copy of this DVD has been watched by people ranging in age from mid-twenties to mid-eighties, most of them familiar with the original 3 series. Without fail, they all really enjoyed the show, were glad it had been made and that they'd had the opportunity to watch it. Those who hadn't viewed the original series borrowed our DVDs to watch them too! Although Australia is Region 4 PAL, our humble and relatively cheap DVD player played this Region 1 DVD with no problems. Will this Silver Wedding Anniversary special show EVER be aired on TV in Australia? Why wait to find out? Treat yourself and enjoy!

Brownie Mt. 5 out of 5 stars.
5 of 6 people found this review helpful.

The Brownie Mountain, located in East Gippsland, Australia, is notable for containing large tracts of old growth forest, including over fifty Shining Gum trees estimated to be over 300 years old. The eucalypt forest provides key habitat for rare and threatened species such as the Powerful Owl, the Spotted Quoll, mainland Australia's largest marsupial carnivore, and the Long-footed Potoroo, Victoria's rarest marsupial.

Some parts of Brownie Mountain are already protected within the Errinundra National Park, other sections of forest designated as old growth by the Department of Sustainability and Environment between Legges Road and the Errinundra Road are under the control of VicForests, with logging being allowed.

The logging of the forest has been contentious due to the impact on rare and threatened species, the impact on water supplies, the associated carbon emissions. Environmentalists have called for the unprotected Brownie Mountain forest area to be incorporated into the National Park reserve system planned to link the Errinundra National Park with the Snowy River National Park.

In 2008, logging recommenced in the Brownie Mountain forest, despite Labor Party policy statements during the 2006 Victorian election campaign that they would protect Victoria's last remaining stands of old growth forest available for logging.

Environment Minister Gavin Jennings confirmed that logging Brownie Mountain forest was contentious in his answer to questions in parliament from Greens MP Sue Pennicuik about the logging in progress.

"Is there activity currently being undertaken in East Gippsland that is a source of contention in relation to the appropriateness of it being allocated for harvesting activity and being subject to protest activity?', I can confirm that that is absolutely happening."

Unfortunately, Tim and Eric ate all of Brownie Mountain. It was not a dream, but it was awesome. I watch this DVD, and I hope I never wake up either.
