It is indeed poor business practice for Paramount to abandon the HD-DVD version of this series, as, for some of us, it was the only reason we bought the HD-DVD players in the first place. I'm sure it would look much better in HD.

Agree with others that the package is not so good either. The hinge and latch are hard to close, especially if the discs aren't perfectly placed in the case.

I'm glad they went to the trouble to remaster them. It's just too bad you can't really enjoy the better master quality in HD.

The remastered scenes are done with a lot of care and do not change the
flow of the original story. Great way to get new fans to watch,
and give old fans a little something new to see.

In the continuing saga that is "The Shield", this is yet another great season with plenty of action. As far as additional content, I am deducting 1 star for the "minisodes". There are a TOTAL waste of space and have nothing to do with The Shield. Drop them!

The season four of Scrubs is a little bit slower than the precedent season but still one of the best show on TV. Dr Cox still has these hillarious rants, JD the same sensitive and sometime cocky character, and special guest stars such as Heather Graham or Matthew Perry make this season very enjoyable.

WHEN SESAME STREET WAS AT IT'S BEST(A Few Edits though) 4 out of 5 stars.

This is when Sesame Street was at it's absolute best! But, there are a few edits from what I remember. One is how they cut the song Consider Yourself in episode 1 right after Gordon finishes putting faces on the anything muppets. Instead it fades out after he puts the faces on. WHAT A SHAME. There is also a suprise (easter egg) SPOILER HERE: On disc 1 on the special features menu, above the words old school is little bird. Keep playing around on your remote until little bird is highlighted in red and click enter to see a photo gallery of concept drawings, and stage pictures. There are a few more edits I didn't mention but the Consider Yourself one is enough to knock the dvd down to 4 stars. So I recomend this dvd but BE WARNED OF SEVERAL EDITS.

The latest in the line of Saturday Night Live's great character players (including Dan Aykroyd and Phil Hartman), Will Ferrell showcases his fearlessness in this 72-minute collection. Whether exposing skin or taking a pause beyond the normal limits, Ferrell induces hard laughs like with the cowbell rocker in the first sketch. The selection includes Ferrell's spot-on impressions of Cub announcer Harry Caray, game-show icon Alex Trebek, President Bush, and Inside the Actor's Studio host James Lipton. As with other SNL Best of... retrospectives, there are short snippets to go along with the full-length sketches that include excellent selections of Ferrell's returning characters Craig the Cheerleader and the swinging Culp brothers. There is no drop-off in laughs from the first to second volume of Will Ferrell's work on Saturday Night Live. Bush, and one-half of the smarmy Lovers couple. I'm one of the biggest Stargate fans so lets say FIEND!! lol I love Stargate Atlantis the most!!! Its extremely hard to find seasons 1,2, and 3 around where i live. Heck, it's hard to find anything you want around here!! I'm very glad that Amazon has these items!!! I've wanted to try and complete my SG-1 and Atlantis Collection and try to find the most coolest collectibles and clothes and patches etc. When i found this stuff on amazon.com i was estatic!!! They've got some of the killerest stargate items i've ever seen and never knew existed!! Killer service and killer items to select through. I have found it hard to decide on what to order everytime i have so far. Its hard to make up my mind on exactly what i want to get at each time!! lol Everything i've ordered from amazon.com has arrived in half the time expected. I bought this for my 18 year old daughter who is absolutely in love with SCRUBS. We watch it all the time on tv and I have to admit, no matter how many times I see the same episode over and over, it's still hilarious. These people work so well together and are such a good contrast with each other that it makes it believable and so funny. If you haven't watched SCRUBS, you are really missing out.

I have never laughed so hard when watching Mr. Walken. If you love Christopher Walken, I would ABSOLUTELY buy this to add to any DVD collection. It includes the cow bell skit with Blue Oyster Cult, the Continetal, and SO many other skits that busted my gut. For how many times he has been on SNL, I would get this DVD. It is totally worth it.

There aren't many words that can describe Christopher Walken, but this DVD does give you a good grasp of some of his greatest moments on SNL. It doesn't have all of his best works, but it does feature a lot of his greats like "Colonel Angus", two episodes of "The Continental", the rare "Boulevard of Broken Balls" scene and at the very end when he was tellin Tom Hanks how it is, when Hanks was hosting SNL. It's simply a great piece that any true Walken fan should have in his collection.

Watching this dvd, I had forgotten how funny Christopher Walken is. I loved the skit where he plays an angel dressed in black. I am really glad i bought this.
