The first season was good, the second was great, and the third and final season made the show a legend.
If you start at the beginning of this season, and I know you will, you'll be disappointed for a few episodes. They had to get their groove back or something. And then, with no gradual transition whatsoever, the writing will leap into the stratosphere and remind you why you love this show. It is simply awesome, and it isn't dated.
One thing they did at the start of this season was try to raise the level of menace on the martial arts, but it was already there.
At times, the verbal sparring was even better than the kung fu, and you know how great that was.
I've written before that you should use superlatives sparingly, and one memorable essay mentioned car horns in China. I could have instead mentioned Kwai Chang Caine's gold silks. When he puts those on, it's clobberin time!
In my review of the second season, I realized that I'd never seen Caine eat with chopsticks. And just to remain so petty, he does it here, and he eats just fine. Hey, I lived in China for 6 years. I notice these things.
When I ordered these DVDs, I envisioned using them in my class, encouraging my students to point out the inaccuracies because they'd be hyper-motivated to do so. In English, which is what I was teaching. But the timing was a little off, as I quit teaching that class a few weeks before I got these DVDs.
Oh well. Looking over it myself, the inaccuracies are minor. Master Kan should in fact be called Master Chen, for example. But the big details, which are why we love this show and why it's timeless, are absolutely spot on. KUNG FU remains a rare classic that, to the best of my knowledge, American TV hasn't equaled and probably never will.

Mike Judge is a genius. Beavis and Butthead were the best, BEST cartoon of the 90's. King of the Hill ended the decade and began the new one with its over the top comedy that somehow was realistic. This show will live in cartoon history as one of the greats up there with South Park and The Simpsons.

I love the show itself. My only complaint is that most of the discs in every season have only four episodes on each side (disc three of season six has only three episodes on each side), so you have to keep turning the discs over or switching them after only a few episodes. I've bought DVDs of other half-hour shows that had six or more episodes on each disc.

I don't really care for sit-coms but once in a long while something refreshing comes along. I bought the whole series right off the bat. Its one of the few things I'll watch over and over again because the show is such a lift.

I absolutely love British comedy, and while I understand this is pretty much an "old person's show" in Great Britain, I think Hyacinth Bucket is fantastic (and I'm only 34). Half of the entire series included in this multi-disc collection. Brilliant cast, superb writing, and definitely rewatchable - again and again and again. Great quality picture and sound which beats the quality you get from most public television stations. A must have for the Britcom buff.

Recently Bernie Mac passed away and they had his memorial in Chicago, IL, where I live. I have always been a huge fan of his and was saddened to hear of his passing. I had seen this DVD sseveral times, but when I heard he had passed I just had to purchase it. I'm glad I did. The Kings and the Queens are hilarious! R.I.P. Mac man.

The Kings of Comedy is one of the most funniest comedy tapes ever made. Everybody should have a copy of this in their library. Bernie Mac sets it off with his hilarious punchlines & true to live stories. His facial expressions will leave you in stitches. He is the funniest comedian on this DVD. Bernie has you laughing so hard, that your chest will start hurting and you can barely breath. He will have you crying. Steve Harvey is funny as well by capping on the audience and taking us down memory lane with ol school music. Cedric The Entertainer is funny as well. DL does a good job with his corny jokes. I label him as a corny comedian. This DVD is definately worth the money. Buy it. You won't be disappointed.

I recently purchased Knight Rider Season 3 and was very satisfied with it. It was great to be able to watch a childhood classic and still enjoy it. Knight Rider Season 3 is highly recommended!

I own every season and every season has at least one "problem disc" that has trouble playing (if it plays at all) in whatever DVD Player I put it in, even my computer. If it all worked it would have 5 stars.

This was a great series and I feel that season 3 was the best of all 4. The show really hit its stride in this season. I only wish there was more in the way of special features. The only special feature on it is a bonus episode from season 4.

This show, created by Abby Mann, had it all! Solid, street smart dialogue and the talent to render it. Heists, surveillance, double-crosses, moral conflicts-- everything that film noir was structured on. Telly Savalas-- it goes without saying-- was Bogart cool and created an indelible character in Kojak. Sorry to see that Universal is not releasing the other seasons, but was happy to find them on Netflix and have been downloading them ever since... I can't get enough of this show.

Knight Rider has been my #1 fav 80's tv show of all.
I was so happy when then finally put the series
on DVD, and then a tv special, which (hopefully)
means more & more "Kitt". Ya, more of the "HOFF" to.
I really would like to see William Daniels back
as "Kitt's voice". I adore him.

While I agree that the marketing strategy for the US and Canadian release of Kate & Allie left a lot to be desired, I am happy that these wonderful episodes made it to DVD at all. The casting, the writing, the acting... Watching these shows feels like coming home... and I have lived in Norway all my life!

This is the sitcom which reignited the sitcom genre. Great writing, great stories, great acting by all. I recommend this show for anyone who wants to have a good laugh and be entertained by a good story too. It sure does feel like coming home watching this and I live in the UK.

disappointed in the package that holds the 2 dvds it totally fell apart when i opened it up.i like to keep the dvds with the holders but oh well will have to come up with something else.
