This season premeired on September 25, 2001, a time when this country needed great entertainment; and this season doesn't dissapoint. It begins with Harm lost at sea on a tiny raft and ends with Bud in critical condition. Commander Sturgis Turner comes to JAG, and Mic Brumby says goodbye to Mac. P.O. Jennifer Coates aslo makes her first appearance. The acting is great, story-lines good, and the tension between Harm and Mac continues......

Being a 40+ year veteran of the Defense Department I will admit to the possibility of some bias, but the moral and ethical values portrayed in JAG and the quality of the judicial process continue to offer a balance to the laziness of the entertainment business. JAG proves eliminating cursing and sex it far more entertaining. Engaging the mind. What a concept.

As with other JAG season episodes, Season 6 was interesting and entertaining. The depiction of the NAVY and JAG is realistic while providing entertainment value worth viewing. I recommend this season to all.

Jag was, and is, such a great series. The actors are impeccable with each person getting a chance to shine. The writing is fantastic and really well thought out. I love dramas that have to do with the military and this series does not disappoint. All of the actors, at some point, get a chance to shine. Even though the series seemed to be mostly focused on Harm and Mac (David James Elliott and Catherine Bell), each character is given a chance to have a storyline. I watched the show when it was on tv originally and I am so glad that they have released it on DVD. Very good series.

Good clear DVD's. The show is excellent and I'm sorry it was canceled. Having the DVD sets helps me to remember what a good program "Jag" was.

Enjoyed the second season of Jericho very much. I think everyone should
be prepared to sustain themselves for 6 months or more in the event of
a disaster that would limit access to our basic needs.

Jericho was great show and this second season proved it again, The writers were able to wrap the series up in 8 episodoes is amazing. If you were a fan of the show it is a must have. I hated to see this show end.

The episodes on this set DO NOT have the laugh tracks removed, they are included on every episode just as they were originally broadcast in 1962-63.

It's too bad The Jetsons only lasted one season back in 1962, but they fared better in Saturday morning reruns. It was the future's answer to The Flintstones (also produced by Hanna Barbera), with space-age gadgets and references to the future (think Las Venus, which was known as Rock Vegas on the other show and Ed Solarvan, which was known as Ed Sullystone, etc). George O'Hanlon was the voice of George Jetson, Penny Singleton played his wife Jane, Janet Waldo was daughter Judy, and Daws Butler played their boy, Elroy. Also, Mel Blanc played Mr. Spacely, George's boss (before Trump said "You're fired!" to one unlucky person each week, Spacely said it almost every week, but with more passion: "Jetsoooooooooon, yoooooooooooou're fiiiiiiiired!") and Don Messick played Rastro, I mean Astro, the family dog. There's not a whole to write about with the extras, except that there are a few commentaries by Janet Waldo.
Highlights include the openning episode where Judy wins a date with Jet Screamer ("Baby, baby, baby! Ah-ah-ah!" Jet performs "The Swivel" and "Eep Opp Ork, Ah-ah!"), George loses his job at Spacely Sprockets (as he did several times) to a scheming robot called Uniblab ("Spacely's a stoop! Spacely's a stoop!"), Astro swallows Elroy's spaceship and the family thinks they have a flying dog (when Mr. Spacely hears about this, he uses it as a weapon against his competitor, Cogswell Cogs), Elroy meets his hero Nimbus the Great ("It's spaaaaaaaaaace magic!"), George shrinks down to size and in order to get him back to size, he needs to aquire a cog from Mr. Spacely's rival, Cogswell Cogs (the best part is when George is trapped in a glass, so he uses a safety pin on Cogswell to escape), Mr Spacely is the judge in a Miss Universe beauty contest, much to the chagrin and jealousy of Mrs. Spacely (George takes over Spacely's spot when the angry missus dethrones him and is enthralled by Miss Western Hemisphere, whom you can guess really turns out to be), Astro is introduced and at first is not well-received by George and in another episode the Jestons find out his original owners want him back and that Astro's real name is Tralfaz ("Rich roruddy ran rery!"), Mr. Spacely and George ditch a PTA meeting for a computerized football game ("Good evening, honey, I have to work much later than I... much later than I... much later than I...."), Rosie the Robot is introduced (Jean Vanderpyl supplies Rosie's voice) and in another episode is set up with male robot Mac, thanks to the apartment janitor Henry ("Mac is the most-ut!", "Rosie, beep! beep!"), Elroy and Astro get their own TV series "Spaceboy, ZOOM!") and in another episode, Elroy's parents think he's brought home a poor report tape which really belongs to another schoolmate and punish him so Elroy and Astro run away (watch for the "15 billionth rerun of The Flintstones").
That's a lot of episodes to enjoy. Like The Flintstones inspired The Jetsons, there would be a reunion of the 2 in The Jetsons Meet the Flintstones and both series did a spinoff on Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. So just relax and enjoy some bona fide "spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaace magic!"

I have been extremely pleased with this purchase and all of the JAG series that I have gotten from Amazon. The series are very enjoyable and I look forward to continuing adding to my collection thru the entire series. The service at Amazon is terrific, easy to find, and delivery is excellent. I have not been disappointed at all. My only question is as to when is the expected release date for JAG - Season 7. I have all of the first six seasons and am greatly looking forward to being able to purchase Season 7.

Jag is a wonderful military drama which also has action/adventure, romance and even a bit of comedy at times. Each actor/actress is given a storyline which really suits them. Most of the time, it seems, the main characters are Harm and Mac (David James Elliott and Catherine Bell). Their chemistry is amazing. I love this series for actors and the storylines but also because alot of the storylines are derived from real life events. The storylines are interesting and the show got better as it went along. If you like military/courtroom dramas, or any of the actors, I think you will like this series.

Jag is a great military drama series. The actors are phenomenal, the storylines can be riveting and the action/adventure (where necessary) is fantastic. Great series to own and watch again and again.

I know that many others disagree with me, but to me JAG is nothing but campy nonsense. It is nothing like the true military (I served, I know) and most of the episodes have little or nothing to do with military law or the kinds of things that JAG officers actually do. (A lot of dull paperwork, mostly--I am a lawyer, I know.) Mostly this series revolves around Politically Correct storylines with purty people flirting or otherwise fooling around. Good entertainment after a fashion, but not my cup of tea.

I had not seen an episode of Jericho until season #2 and instantly got hooked, then in a flash "POOF" it was gone.
I just do not understand why the ratings were supposedly so bad with such great stories and characters.
I pray the show is picked up by another cable channel soon and it continues.
FYI- I will buy the complete series when the price comes down !!

As a fan of the show while it aired on CBS, I am not completely objective. However, I will say that I am a busy person with little time for TV, but this show captivated me and pulled me in from the beginning. Though the post-apocalyptic theme may have viewers thinking that it's a death, doom and destruction-type show, it's much more than that.
Jericho is a study in the 'character' of the characters and how disaster can either bring out the worst or the best in individuals. The show also showcases how the values related to home, love, family, community, teamwork, and compassion still ring true -- no matter how dire the circumstances and even if the world as we know it is no more.
I enjoyed seeing some familiar faces like Skeet Ulrich, Gerald McRaney, Esai Morales, Alicia Coppola, etc., as well as getting to know many new ones to me, like Brad Beyer, Lennie James, Ashley Scott, Bob Stephenson, and others. There's no more handsome, heroic, and yet flawed "prodigal son" than Skeet's Jake Green, no better moral compass than McRaney's Mayor Green, and no badder, more awesome mystery man than James' Robert Hawkins.
Jericho is a town not unlike ones in which we grew up, and the townsfolk are very similar to people you know. And because of that, it forces you to confront the question of "What if.....? What would I do if this happened to me?"
Jericho is still too much of an undiscovered gem for too many people. Do yourself a favor and figure out why, even after two TV cancellations, this show still has such a staunch fan base that insists the Jericho story continue.
