Dr. House is back for round 2 and hasn't lost any of the punch! Hugh Laurie, Robert Sean Leonard, Jesse Spencer, Omar Epps, Jennifer Morrison, and Lisa Edelstein reprise their memorable roles in Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital for more medical mysteries and interhospital relational issues.
A great concern for any sequel or season 2 is "Can they pull off the success of the first movie/season?" The answer for House is a big, confident "YES!" The addition of Stacy, House's ex-girlfriend, adds a unique dimension to the hospital, one that I thought wouldn't work. Through Stacy (and House's pursuance of his now-married former girlfriend), we are able to see that House truly can love, does love, wants to love, but is afraid of love. The scenes with House and Stacy are well done, vibrant, and impactful. Definitely no naptime here!
Other episodes (such as Euphoria and The Mistake) give us glimpses into the lives of House's team members, Drs. Cameron, Chase, and Foreman. Through these episodes, we see their strengths, their weaknesses, their families, and why they became doctors in the first place.
If you think for one moment that the writers will pull back and get lazy and let their characters slip, think twice. The characters are just as vibrant as in Season 1, the drama just as moving, the mysteries as puzzling and House's humor just as funny and piercing.
Again, if you have a faint stomach or are sensitive to sexuality in shows, this might not be for you...
Add the absolutely amazing season finale that will make you wonder what does and doesn't exist, and this is definitely not a season to be missed. Add this to your Christmas list and hope Santa thinks you've been good this year! A must have to anyone's DVD collection!

the reason why i gave 3 stars is because i have yet to receive my season 4 of One Tree Hill. i purchased all 5 seasons from amazon.com but the fourth season came from an outside seller. i have yet to receive it. its been over a month. if you would know why i havent received it or a way i can receive it...let me know!!!

I loved this show on broadcast, and I love it more on DVD. I could mention that it could use more DVD-exclusive content and special features, I do love commentary tracks. But, this is a minor issue by comparison. This is, bar none, the best opening season for any television series. Perhaps the second season wasn't all that it could be, and the third season is almost up to standards, but those are separate concerns. Here's the bottom line: Get this DVD collection. Get it and see what I mean. It is genius, from start to finish.

If you haven't seen this show before, you are in for a treat! I bought this on a whim right after Thanksgiving because I am a sucker for Black Friday deals. I liked Dawson's Creek growing up and thought this show would be similar, but it is SO MUCH better!!! The first couple of episodes are a little slow...but you will be hooked in no time! I've since bought seasons 2, 3 & 4 and can't stop watching. I highly recommend this for teens and adults alike! The adults in OTH are just as much involved as the teens so don't think of this as "just another teen show." Here is a summary without spoilers: One Tree Hill is a small town that thrives on high school basketball games. The star player has a half-brother that his father wishes was never born & it throws both of them off track when he joins the basketball team. One Tree Hill deals with topics such as drinking, pregnancy, rape, etc. I promise you won't be disappointed in your purchase, but beware: it is very, very addictive!!!

My wife and I purchased the box set of all 39 original episodes and what a treat. It brings back great memories when I was growing up in the fifties. The quality of the shows are very clear and sharp. The only thing is that so far the only episode that lacks in the audio is the very first "TV OR NOT TV" but the rest are perfect. Very highly recommended for any Honeymooner buffs. FIVE STARS!

It seems like many of the episodes follow a model of Greek tragedy, in which the Kramdens' get-rich-quick schemes are foiled by a flaw in Gleason's or Carney's character. It is a sign of talent when Gleason can be funny by ranting and raving.

I love, love, love the Honeymooners!!!! These are truly great classics that will take you to a simpler time. I have not one complaint about the show. However, the dvd has a few quirks. It has no option to "play all", after each episode, it is redirected back to the menu to pick the next episode. It also has some trouble with volume. It stays very low, and often is hard to hear. Also, there seems to be something that doesn't tell my dvd player to bring up the screensaver. This is the only discs I have that will just sit there and burn into the screen, all others obviously trigger a screensaver after so many minutes, these do not.

With all that being said, I still love these discs. These shows are so great that they out weigh the few quirks of the disc. I love them and they were totally worth every penny.

They currently sell Season 1, Season 2, and a preorder of Season 3 for a combined price of $87.97

Why buy this 3-season box set when you could buy all three individually for cheaper?

Currently amazon is selling How I Met Your Mother Seasons 1-3 for $107.99.

You can go to Walmart right now and buy all three seasons for $87.58 plus tax.

Not only is it cheaper, but you'll have them right away.

First of all, squabble over a couple dollars is silly. But if you wait a couple months, prices drop. Why do you even bother buying this as soon as it is released if you are worried about a few bucks.....wait a couple months and prices drop.......you paid over $80 in Oct and I paid under $50 in Dec. if you are worried about a couple bucks, then wait a couple months and you can save over $40.

I purchased this set for my daughter's birthday. She started watching it and noticed that disc 1 was scratched. The other discs in the set were fine. I returned the scratched set and received a replacement. The replacement had the same problem - disc 1 was scratched and the other discs were fine. We returned the replacement for a refund. We went to Walmart and she selected a different movie for her birthday.

Do not waste your money! Season 3 is replay of 1 and 2 1 out of 5 stars.

Season 3 is just about the same of seasons 1 and 2...Do not expect to see new episodes...You will find only a compilation of the same episodes shown on seasons 1 and 2...Very disappointing!!! I want my money back!

Thought every DVD has subtitles, at least English subtitle, in it..
But this one is one of few DVDs that don't carry what I want!

There is nothing much different than you watch on Mtv.com.

If you love House MD, you have to own the show on DVD, so that you can re-warch any of your favorite anytime that you want to! Hugh Laurie is a wonderful actor & you would never know that he is a brit. This is a MUST have! I give it a A+!
