This is a 5 disc set, but there are only 2 shows on 4 of the discs, and bio on the 5th about hollywood couples.I bought it for $18, but I still felt ripped off. I bought a Burns and Allen DVD at the dollar store with more episodes than this. 18 bucks for 8 episodes is pretty high priced!

Good clean humor. These two were such a good team. Refreshing . I wish more shows were like these. No, I am not a senior citizen I just enjoy clean shows.

Ok, I admit it I love the Green Hornet and Kato. The show was only on for one season, and these DVDs seem to be of doubtful lineage as they were likely pirated. These come out of Hong Kong. But they are the only ones available. Bruce Lee set a new standard for TV action with his martial art based stunts. I would recommend them for Green Hornet/Kato/Bruce Lee fans.

One of the funniest shows to hit the air......Chris Elliot is a comic genius and perfect for the role if u know what i mean!....It is pathetic that u can only buy limited episode dvd s and online it is very expensive.....so shop around.....i found a brand new volume 2 at a music megastore for 16 dollars/cdn.....yesterday!

This is easily my all time favorite television show. There is no one out there that makes me laugh as much as Chris Elliot. Get A Life was an absolutely awesome show.

If the complete seasons come out on DVD, there is no question that there will be plenty of people ordering them, so if any one in charge of that stuff knows whats good for them, they will do well to make sure that the complete seasons of this show come out on DVD!!

I highly recommend buying all 3 seasons of Gomer Pyle-USMC. This show makes me laugh endlessly, you will too. It's so funny! Enjoying all the episodes & can't wait for seasons 4 & 5 to come out on DVD.

This was an excellent purchase. My mother and I have enjoyed going back in time watching Gomer, the Sarge and the Gang! The quality of these DVD'S are great! I have already placed my preorder for season 4. Can't wait for it to arrive and am waiting for more seasons to come! If you are looking for great family entertainment go ahead and purchase this box set.

My husband and I enjoy watching the old Gomer Pyle shows. Even my teenagers are enjoying them. It's good clean fun for the whole family.

This was purchased as an anniversary gift for my wife. She only stops watching to work and sleep. She's already finished seasons 1 -4, and is almost done with season 5! It was perfect. Excellent product. The only glitch was the first shipment sent was on VHS, but that was corrected and the DVD's arrived in time for our anniversary. Well Done Amazon!

A must have for young and old alike. The best drama and comedy on T.V. In my opinion the best hmour and drama ever seen on T.V. Alexia Bledel(Rory) and Lauren Graham(Lorelai) are both terrific actors. Stars Hollow is a great fantasy place to live. I would move their in a split second.

Lured by the color photo of Gracie & George on the cover, versus all the other DVDs of Gracie & George I perused on Amazon.com, I decided the information about this set, plus the total viewing time offered (over 4 hours) might be worth $10. Well...the cover art is definitely the best "video" about the set, but that's not to say the video is bad. Of the two enclosed discs, the first has some of the best video, the second has most of the best audio, given that Timeless Media Group apparently did NO restoration (audio or video) of the source material. However, the last episode on the second disc not only is the best episode of the two discs, it also has the best video and audio quality of the two discs! The episode must have been from one of their later (and better) shows, with a new set design, which was a little more modern, with better lighting...better everything!! It was a nice way to conclude the two-disc set.

There are no captions or subtitles on either disc, so with the first disc especially, one must listen attentively, or use the slow speed on your DVD player (if you're lucky enough to have that feature) to capture all the wonderful one-liners that Gracie throws out at lightning speed.

The shows are much like todays sit-coms, only from the '50s, and much, much more tame. The humor is family-oriented and fun to watch. Gracie is the life of ALL the skits!

Gracie seems much like an early version of Goldie Hawn, but without tatoos, blonde hair, or a mini-skirt. Gracie was a wonderful comedian who acted completely oblivious to the lunacy she delivered, and was utterly charming at it!! Goldi Hawn, who really became famous with her role on "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In" in the '60s, may have fashioned herself somewhat after Gracie! After all, the "George Burns & Gracie Allen Show" would not have been the hit that it was without Gracie!

The shows (there are ten episodes on the two DVDs) have fillers in between episodes that are mostly of the variety-hour type...tap dancers & singers, so when they appeared, I just fast-forwarded through them. There are also commercials for Carnation Evaporated Milk, and they are integrated directly into the skits, which is not something you see these days! Between skits, George rambles on with a few stories, trying to be funny with his classic facial expressions/contortions, until you get to the scenes with Gracie, and then the fun begins, and FUN it IS!!!

This really is an enjoyable, old-fashioned show, and if you remember this wonderful couple as do I, you can re-live their show in your living room once more with this enjoyable two-disc set! I do recommend it. The only reason for not giving it more than 3 stars is the overall poor quality of the audio and video on the discs. The programming, however, is quite fun!

This series is a sweet oasis of edgy wit and politically incorrect characters who surround Loreli and Rory Gilmore in Stars Hollow. The fact that Miss Patti smokes as she issues vague directions to small ballerinas and Kirk's short film is a dark homage to Eraserhead only serves to remind fans of the GGs that it's ok for adults to watch these begining years of a seven year run. Lots of thumbs up!

Why buy a collection of episodes from a TV series that lasted a mere two low-rated seasons? Because Get a Life was so far ahead of its time, TV still hasn't completely caught up yet. Chris Elliott, TV's original jackass, stars as Chris Peterson, a 30-year-old paperboy who still lives with his bathrobed and perpetually embarrassed parents (the venerable Bob Elliott and Elinor Donahue, who was "Princess" on Father Knows Best). The first slacker sitcom subverts conventions with its unapologetically obnoxious and delusional lead character in this well-chosen quartet of episodes. Chris auditions for a local theatre production, "Zoo Animals on Wheels." In "Married," he meets, marries, cheats on, and divorces a model all in one day.
