the write up proclaims "never before seen footage" making the consumer believe it is an original and unique film...in actuality, it is like one of those Bugs Bunny movies where they throw in 30 seconds of new stuff in between all the cartoons you have seen before...essientially, this is stewie and brian searching for stewies father stretched out over an hour...pretty disappointing

Follow Stewie's lead & wear a diaper for this one! You'll be glad you did, unless, of course, you have that plastic-clad furniture, lol. Seth has done it again with this side-splitting comedy. He's taken some of the best of Stewie's antics from the popular Fox cartoon, added a few unseen gems, & has come up with an all Stewie review! Join Stewie on a series of wild adventures as he tries to 'find' himself. He also finds numerous pitfalls along the way, pits that only Stewie can fall into. A hilariously good time for all "Family Guy" fans!

Missing: Reunion Episode! 4 out of 5 stars.

The final season of "Flavor of Love" was quite an experience, not only holding the title for the longest amount of episodes any of the FOL shows have contained, but also due to the surprise ending during the Reunion, already commented upon in other reviews. Flav's "final decision" was a wonderful way to end the series, which makes the DVD's absence of the episode so much more infuriating, no less than the dissapointment I felt when the second season also contained no Reunion Special. The situation is somewhat remedied by the inclusion of a leaflet which states the following: "To Watch the Flavor of Love 3 Reunion Special, Long On to [...]; Enter the Secret Code...." Though this does make the episode available to all who purchase the box set, it is certainly less permanent than actually owning a copy of the special in the DVD format. To add insult to injury, the Reunion has yet to be added to the website listed, simply stating the episode is "coming soon...." (as of June 7th, the episode is now available.) In either case, I truly enjoyed this season and commend Flavor Flav for making the "realest" choice to end his long and colorful history on VH1, but I feel one should be warned of the content the DVD does contain.

I was (9) years old when 'The Flip Wilson Show' hit the airwaves. It was one of those shows that the whole family sat down and watched. While all of the bits are good - and while it was great to see Flip in his various characters cavorting with his guest stars - I purchased this DVD primarily for the appearance by the Osmond Brothers singing 'Yo-Yo.' They had only recently left 'The Andy Williams Show' and ventured out on their own. In tune with the times, they had grew their hair long and this performance is, I think, their most exciting televised ever. It's something I distinctly remembered way back when...! Overall, this was a classic show. Like other classic series, I hope entire shows become available on DVD!

I thought this DVD of The Flip Wilso show which RHINO was selling was going to be really funny . I played it and I nearly fell asleep all they did was sit at a table talk and play cards . And when they played a " funny skit " Laughable it wasn't ! This DVD would look better in the bottom of a waste basket .

Having been exposed to many animated series in the 60-s, the one serie that
made me run from school at lunch time every single day so i did not miss it
were the Flintstones. Was it the characters, the music, the stories, i think
it was all of those and more. A great friendship between Barney and Fred was
one of the high points and proved even more interesting when peebles and bam
bam made their way in. In season 6 we have the Great Gazo in which made the
flintsones even better.
Also we cant forget Wilma and Betty....they were the strenght behing the boys
Season 6 is the last season, and the only thing i can say is....thank you
to all that worked or made the Flintstones a great show for all ages.

From the director of such classics as Late Spring, Tokyo Story, and Floating Weeds, Criterion brings us a 3-disc collection from Japanese auteur Yasujiro Ozo. Although he has not yet reached the wide-spread acclaim of fellow countryman Akira Kurosawa, Ozu is starting to gain the recognition that he rightfully deserves.

Ozu began his career as a cameraman, and with hard work and determination he finally ascended the ladder to director. Once his position was earned, Ozu poured his creativity onto film with unmatched diligence, producing nearly half of his 50+ films in the first five years of his career. Sadly, many of these films are now lost, which adds to the enjoyment of these extraordinary, previously unreleased films from Criterion.


As the title suggests, the films in this collection were released during a portion of Ozu's silent career, ranging from 1931-1933. Ozu, along with the majority of the Japanese film industry, was somewhat hesitant about entering into talkies based upon the belief that emotions could be best conveyed with movements, expressions, and atmosphere, not dialogue. Ozu's first talkie was not released until 1936, the same year as Chaplin's final silent masterpiece, Modern Times. This period of his career marked Ozu's transition into social criticism as he both subtly and blatantly expresses his discontent with the culture of pre-WWII Japan.

Included films:

Tokyo Chorus (1931) - A man is fired from his job for reasons that would normally be viewed as commendable. The film from here follows his social and financial downfall as he does anything he possibly can to support his family. As in the other films in this collection, the plot of Tokyo Chorus sounds very dramatic but Ozu has a certain way of shedding a positive light onto each situation.

I Was Born, But... (1932) - A story of the hardships of childhood and the ways in which children view their parents in unappreciative and misconstrued ways. A comedy with some serious overtones.

Passing Fancy (1933) - The final film in this collection is about the unstable relationship of a widower and his son. It focuses on a child's attempts to help an alcoholic parent while also being resentful of the unstoppable forces of change.

And just in case anyone needs to know I'll post the technical aspects of the films as well.

Wow crazy hilarious again from flavor flav, this was really dramatic and above hilarious this was so funny i can't really explain how great it was but where's the reunioun oh well i saw that a lot of times any way, but this show was funny and uncensored oh yes really funny show.

I bought the 2nd season and it was great, I got to the end and was very dissappointed that there was no reunion show, like season 1. which was included. How do you get the reunion show. Without the reunion added to the DVD's it is just not the same.

Great show thats a bit over the top but its entertaining as Hell!
Its sad to see a lot of the more familiar actors get written off the show but the new storyline and characters adds so many more new twists and turns. I can hardly wait for season 4 but someone has written it will take 1 1/2 years for it to reach our retail market but BBC America is already selling Season 4 and 5 in Region 2 which doesn't make any sense to us Region 1 fans. Also, bootleg copies are already surfacing on Ebay with enticements like unrated. If you can't wait then go to the footballers wives website and totally spoil it for yourself.

If you like Soap Operas, the back stabbing and cheating, then this is for you. All you have to do is get use to the British accents and their terms that we're not use to here in the States. There's some nudity and bad language, but get over it! Season #2 and #3 are also "must sees"!
