I started watching this show since it first aired. My ex-girlfriend got me hooked immediately. The creativity doesn't seem to go away and the characters are really the best. I don't like CSI NY or Miami and I'm not a fan of those other crime shows, but I just can't get enough of this one.

Watched every season every episode so far, Season 8 is hopeless, some episodes are boring and to me were just fillers, You Kill Me in particular, what was that all about, even the first couple of episodes were sparse and self indulgent, as I watched episode after episode I was waiting for that CSI winning formula of old, the only saving grace was the poison dwarf = the short young girl with the big IQ. Has CSI ran its course can there only be so many stories about Las Vegas, there was even one episode that intertwined with Without a Trace that was disjointed. Grissom was god and this CSI was the best series, not sure now as CSI Miami seems to me to more watchable. The characters are worn out and boring, only Jim Brass is ever good, Sara you wont be missed.

I'm so happy I happened to stumble across this series and watch a few episodes free on Amazon.com. I immediately bought the first season set and became a "Chuck" groupie. This is a fabulous show. The BuyMore Nerd Herders are demented in a hilarious sort of way, Sarah and Casey are always in the midst of exciting action, and Chuck is adorable, engaging, and sharp. Pulled unwittingly into a spy game, Chuck is compelled to be a part of spy action that he is not equipped for, which adds up to a lot of fun and hair-raising close calls. His almost-romance with Sarah is tantalizingly imminent every week, but it always stays just out of reach. This is a great concept--adventure/action, romance, and comedy in every episode. It's simply chock full of fun and excitement. "Chuck" rocks, and I'm an inveterate fan. The first season set is excellent, with virtually every episode superlative. Fun, suspense, and romance--this show can't be beat. It's #1 on my list now.

Californication is a wild, funny, and an enteraining show about Hank Moody a washed-up writer from NY who moved to LA to make it big. It didn't work out that well and as a result he cannot write!

Hank drinks and womanizes while trying to win back his ex while raising his 12-year-old daughter. He is also being blackmailed from the ex's boyfriend's daughter.

WARNING: There is a lot of fornication is almost every episode and a lot of swearing that probably isn't necessary. You can make a great show without showing every sex scene and saying the F word in every other sentence in which it gets annoying after a while but don't let that stop you from checking out this show.

To Duchovny fans you will see the softer side in Hank's character as he has shown in The X-files and Return to Me in which makes him attractive.

The relationship with his daughter and his ex that is sweet. There is a connection there that no one can describe unless you have had experienced both. This is what keeps me tuning into this show. I will definitely check out the season 2 when it comes out on DVD!

I enjoyed very much the first two seasons. But when I read that Mandy Patinkin had left the show I was disappointed and thought that was the end of Criminal Minds. I was so wrong! And don't get me wrong, he was a great asset being the character they most turned to for advise in all areas of the psyque. Joe Mantegna is more likable -sorry Mandy- and though he was brought to the show almost abruptly, they show you how he adapts gradually to everybody and the new way things are done at the BAU since he had been part of it when it began. Throughout the season, Joe Mantegna integrates the team like a piece of a puzzle that didn't quite fit was removed and placed by the perfect one, and now I see that the show will not only survive it's leading character but will do better with the new one.

Now, the plot. Unfortunately, there are so many sick in this world that they will never run out of new ideas for a show. Every episode is good, has new twists, and some episodes are even better that what we would sometimes expect; you are guessing who is going to be the bad guy and how they are going to figure out, by his/her personality or behavior, who committed this or that murder. It's just so wonderfully made that sometimes I think I have a bit of a psychologist in me!

It never gets boring and even though it is about solving mostly murders, I always finish watching with a sense of satisfaction.

The only bad thing is that I watched it so fast that now I am tapping my fingers waiting for the fourth season. Don't miss this one!

Finally I get to see the Season of CSI Miami that isn't ages behind. We are dealt a tough blow by the network in Australia that has the rights to show all CSI's. So being able to purchase the full Season from Amazon is brilliant - never do I have to feel left behind again... Thank you.

CSI Miami has always been the pretty, but vapid, offshoot of the original Vegas-centered show, with simpler writing and acting, less complicated cases, and much less realism (even for a TV crime show).

I've followed the series since its inception; it's always been just mind-candy compared to the original show. In this sixth season, Miami finally reaches the point of not being worth watching even for mind-candy. If you watch the episode "To Kill a Predator", I'm talking about the ending. Never mind the simplistic moralizing, but cmon...talk about jumping the shark.

More broadly, the opening sequences (eg, before the title credits roll) are glitzier and edgier than ever, and in proper Miami-style, attractive people are everywhere. It's pretty much only the chicks in bikinis that save this from a 2 star rating. But the usual things that weaken realism in this series are even more pronounced than before:

* The forensics people regularly go on police raids. By themselves. With just a handgun and no backup. Even in cases where a SWAT team would be called for...

* Far too many cases feature some complicated personal links to the CSI people.

* Horatio ends up shooting a lot of people for being in a scientist desk-jockey position. But somehow never is investigated for that despite all the "Internal Affairs" tie-ins in the series?

* It's almost always one of the first two or three suspects and they almost always give in when prodded to confess. And they always cooperate no matter how guilty they are. And the CSIs are doing the interrogations. And the minors don't need advocates. And...

* Somehow one small team covers the entire city's forensics needs while conducting those regular police raids.

* Somehow the female CSIs are able to show up wearing cute little white pantsuits, long loose hair, and stiletto heels and process a scene like a construction site (umm..loose dirt, heels... doesn't work, they sink!). Nobody gets dirty, their hair doesn't get gunked up, huh?

* Legalities are rarely covered. Warrants, probable cause, who needs that??

* Science is skimmed over perfunctorily. DNA is used to include suspects rather than properly to exclude them, fingerprint searches take fractions of a second, network IP addresses magically map to individual people's dossiers. Forensics is nothing other than science, so here the series loses its focus entirely.

* Proper crime-scene procedure isn't followed either: see something special, pick it up bare-handed! No documenting, no gloves, no nothing.

* Etc Etc Ugh

It IS fiction, so there has to be some glossing over of reality's mundanities. But unlike the original CSI there's no attempt to preserve suspension of disbelief. Add in the increasingly simple acting and poor writing, and the result is a dis-service to the CSI franchise. And not worth your time. Not recommended.

This is the first TV show that I waited for with much excitement! And Chuck delivers! I got into each episode and never wanted it to end! This show is such a great mix of everything you want in a show, action, comedy, and a well thought out plot. My favorite aspect of this show is the great character development and interaction. It has good special features. Oh did I mention it looks great on blu-ray!

One difference with other shows The Closer get better. The third season is in my opinion better than the two previous one. The only thing I have to say about the DVD collection I don't know why the company produce season 1 and 2 with french and Spanish subtitles and season 3 have not spanish subtitles. What is the reason to screw this up what is the criteria. The third season have even mandarin subtitles and no Spanish

The Closer series is well written. The 'end' of each episode always has some surprises. The actors in this ensemble cast are all great and I'd hate that even one would leave the series. I've bought all seasons that are available. A well acted script is always a pleasure to watch again and again.

Couldn't wait for S3 and was not disappointed. Action, humour, and some face-the-truth issues really make it a wholesome drama series.
Wish S4 was already out.

I've been a fan of CSI for years, and have desperately wanted to add this excellent TV drama to my personal DVD collection. Unfortunately the season set DVDs were way out of my price range, so I had to be content to borrow the DVDs from my public library(thank goodness for libraries). But now I see that Amazon.com has season one of CSI on sale for $[...] Yes!!! I won't truly be content until I have all of the season DVD sets of CSI, but in the meantime, having the first season of this entertaining and intelligent show will do.

I couldn't tear myself away from this collection. My favorite players are William Peterson and Marg Helgenberger. They are well paired and I only wish that they would be romantically linked! All of the actors are superlative and the writers know their craft well. I am on the edge of my seat when I watch these shows and they are all equal in brilliance. I have already watched the first two seasons and anxiously await my shipment of Collection #3 and #4. I will order all of them eventually. The best crime show on TV.

I bought the first two seasons and my family and I really enjoy them. Our kids range in age from 13 to 18 and we watch one episode almost every night. Some great values to pass on to your kids and some good parental pointers as well.

The Cosby Show, like Three's Company, is a timeless classic comedy. I used to watch this on tv when it was originally released and used to laugh out loud. I still do and I am close to 40. Even when it comes on tv, I will still stop to watch it. This is a good comedy series for the whole family and actually has the ability to teach some good values. Highly recommended and especially for family viewing.

I started watching this show when I was a little kid. All the episodes and the humor came back and it was great. I have always loved Bill Cosby's sense and style of humor. It is so refreshing to listen to something clean as opposed to the crap that is circulating through today's television.
