Depp of the show 4 out of 5 stars.
8 of 9 people found this review helpful.

When at the end of third season,Harry Ioki was shot and Hansen was in jail. Season four starts off when season three left off. Dennis Booker and Doug Penhall try to get the guy who framed hansen and get him released-it seem almost like a 48 hours clone.

Depp tried to get out of his contract on jumpstreet to do movies, it did not happen. However his preformances on this season shows were less than stellar... and it shows.

There is a Booker spin-off with this season's episode (the 2 part Wheels & Deals) which set up a Booker spin off which lasted one season.

This was Jump street's last season, the fifth season was with out Nguyen and Depp). This was the shows winding down, there was good story lines with Holly Robinson and Peter DeLuise.

One of the best episodes in the futuristic clip show called Back from the Future. The highlight of this show is watching the cast in old age make up...trying to act 50 years older. Most of the makeup work look tacky. It is a cute clip show, directed bvy DeLuise, BUT Penhall as a priest..oh C'mon, someone make it more believeable!

This Jump Street season is the Jump the shark that TV shows are made of. BUT It is worth it? YES, as bad as it is at times, it better than most stuff out there today

Another Sci-Fi series, with a modern twist. 5 out of 5 stars.

This show first caught my eye when I was flipping through the channels, and I saw an ad for it. I decided to check it out and I was hooked! The characters are well developed, and very involved. I don't want to give much away, but the relationships between the 4400 and the NTAC agents are so inter-twined that it makes Tom and Diana's job quite difficult. I would recommend this show to anyone who is a fan of Sci-Fi shows.

Not as good as season 1!! 4 out of 5 stars.
0 of 0 people found this review helpful.

This season fell short, in my opinion, of number 1. There was less action, suspense, even the storylines seemed to dwindle.
I wanted to see more of the 4400's powers, but what little powers they showed, they werent as impressive as in the previous season, although there is a reason for that, which I wont give away.
Yet although season 2 fell short, I still love the show, and will continue to watch it.

It keeps getting better. 5 out of 5 stars.

It's not the type of show that you can start watching in season two, but if you liked season one, this is a must. I have seen the entire series, and it just keeps getting better and better, with each year building on the last. This is one of a very small number of shows in the genre that puts thought before flash and plot before special effects. I can't say enough good things about the series.

Great Season 4 out of 5 stars.

The loss of Depp should have been a huge loss, but it really wasn't too bad. The storylines are still quite strong, Peter and Holly were just as important to the show, and Michael Bendetti was an excellent addition to the cast. Fox gave up on this show a bit too soon. If you're a Jump Street fan, buy it.

21 Jump street season 5 3 out of 5 stars.

Great Show, Crazy Episode Sequencing 3 out of 5 stars.
3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

I will echo the praise of other reviewers here for this show. It's one of my favorite sitcoms from the mid to late 80s. The casting is perfect, the stories well written. Marla Gibbs and Jackee Harry are a joy to watch.

The reason I'm giving this dvd only three stars is because the episode sequencing on the set is the worst I've ever seen. Instead of following the airing order, which is the way the show should be viewed, I think they followed the production order. What this means is that after watching the pilot episode on disc one you will have to go to another disc to watch the second part of that story. They do not tell you this anywhere on the set.

The proper airing order can be viewed at tv.com. This is the way the creators of the show intended viewers to watch it. You'll understand why once you see the sequence. Unfortunately, to watch it the way it was meant to be watched one has to alternate back and forth between discs which can get real annoying real quick.

I'm also shocked that only the first season has been released after all this time. Is this not selling well? Regardless of the crazy episode sequencing this is one terrific show and I'll buy it no matter how they release it.

Is it America? 4 out of 5 stars.
0 of 1 people found this review helpful.

Personally, I feel producers had nothing to say sometimes and they create sort of phantasies aka "Space Odyssey-2001" speculating on future of the characters.

Cast is good, Depp is out of any comment, and Dustin Nguyen's hero is very nice lad in this mob-the best to my opinion.

I bought this for my husband as he was a big fan when it was on tv. I really enjoyed watching it myself.

great DVDs 5 out of 5 stars.

This is a great show. Mostly I love it because the 80's were an awesome decade and because Johnny Depp was so hot. So were Dustin Nguyen and Peter DeLuise, but mostly Johnny.
The DVDs were in brand new condition and arrived promptly. They were well worth the price.

Editorial Review:

Season 1: 24, as surely everyone knows by now, is a thriller that takes places over 24 hours, midnight to midnight, in 24 one-hour episodes. Everything takes place in real time, which means no flashbacks, no flash-forwards, no handy time-dissolves. Every strand of the plot has to be dovetailed and interlocked so things happen just when they should, in the right amount of time. Federal agent Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) runs around L.A. trying to stall an assassination attempt on an African American presidential candidate and rescue his wife and daughter from the clutches of the Balkan baddies. Twists, turns, revelations, and cliffhangers are tossed at us with satisfying regularity. It's not perfect: we get some hokey plot devices (instant amnesia, anybody?); the final twist makes no sense whatsoever; and as for Dennis Hopper's "Serbian" accent.... Even so, this is undeniably mold-breaking TV. Like Murder One and The Sopranos, 24 is one of those series that future TV thrillers will be measured against. --Philip Kemp

Season 2: Jack Bauer is having another one of his "very bad days" in the second season of the groundbreaking real-time thriller 24. Once again the hours are ticking by with more guaranteed cliffhangers than a convention of mountain climbers. Holed up in a Los Angeles condo and estranged from his daughter, Jack is no longer on the government payroll; unfortunately for him, this small fact doesn't seem to matter to President David Palmer and the NSA, who call him back in to the CTU and give him 24 hours to infiltrate a terrorist organization that is planning to detonate a dirty bomb in the city of angels. All Jack wants is to get his daughter out of the city, unfortunately Kim's new employer, the abusive father of the child she is nannying, has other ideas.

Season 3: There's not one cougar to be found in 24's dynamic third season, and that's good news for everyone. After Jack Bauer's daughter Kim survived hokey hazards in season 2, she's now a full-time staffer at CTU, the L.A.-based intelligence beehive that's abuzz once again--three years after the events of "Day Two"--when a vengeful terrorist threatens to release a lethal virus that could wipe out much of the country's population. Jack attempts to broker a deal for the virus involving drug kingpin Ramon Salazar, whose operation Jack successfully infiltrated at high personal cost: to maintain his cover, he got hooked on heroin. That potentially deadly triangle--drug lords, addiction, and bioterrorism on a massive scale--sets the 24-hour clock ticking in a tight, action-packed plot involving a potential traitor in CTU's midst; the return of TV's greatest villainesses in Nina Meyers and former First Lady Sherry Palmer; a troubled romance between Kim and Jack's new partner Chase; and a scandalized reelection campaign by president David Palmer, who monitors CTU as they struggle to (literally) save the day.

Season 4: The fourth season kicks off with a deadly terrorist strike resulting in the kidnapping of his new boss, the U.S. Secretary of Defense James Heller. Although a fired, ex-employee of the Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU), it is no surprise who is going to shift into full gear to bring the terrorists to justice. However, it doesn't take the super-agent long to discover the kidnapping of his boss is part of a much larger plan, master-minded by Habib Marvan the middle eastern terrorist cell leader the US government has been trying to track down for years. Considered by many to be the best season of the first four, 24 - Season 4 is a definite departure from the first three seasons; it's still amped up beyond anything else on TV, but compared to the previous seasons, 24 has gotten a lot smarter, and in turn, better. --Rob Bracco

Season 5: Eighteen months after faking his own death, Jack Bauer is forced to return to Los Angeles when it becomes apparent that the only four people who know he is still alive are being systemically targeted for assassination. The assassinations coincide with the signing of an anti-terrorism treaty between Russia and the U.S., leading Jack to suspect a link between the assassinations, the treaty, and a group of Russian terrorists. But as events slowly unfold it becomes apparent that the day's horrific events were originally set in motion by someone within our country's own administration - an individual with the power and resources to thwart Jack's every move.

Take a dip in the "Ocean" 5 out of 5 stars.
7 of 9 people found this review helpful.

I'm not a 15 year old girl, and i absolutely LOATHE Laguna Beach and its fakeness, but i really enjoyed the first season of 8th & Ocean. I think the reason i enjoy 8 is because the people on 8 have to make a living and make their own way in the world, while on laguna the kids are spoiled whiny ill behaved brats. SUMMARY, Good girl Britt joins the Irene Marie Modeling Agency in Miami and tries to advance her modeling career while hanging on to her morals. Britt moves in to an apartment shared with other models such as Tracie who at 24 is no longer the fresh face she used to be and whose opportunities are drying up. Also living in the models apartment are feuding twins Kelly and Sabrina, (whose parents must have been CHARLIES ANGELS fans), who have to deal with sibling jealousy and ups and downs of their cereers while being at each others throats, i mean if you can't trust your sister who can you trust. Irene also has to deal with super hot, super FLAKY male model Vinci who is super unreliable. So will Britt be able to keep her morals or fall prey to the sharks that are attracted to fresh meat? Tune in to see. EP
