It's amazing how each season, the show gets better and better. The addition of Kara, Clark's cousin from Krypton lends a rich complexity to the show. The on-off relationship of Clark with Lana and Lana's deviousness regarding his vengence towards Lex keeps us constantly wondering what will happen next. Bizarro, the form taken by the phantom by using some of Clark's DNA and his relationship with Lana and then Clark's realization that Bizarro slept with Lana during his absence in the fortress for a month really stirs up some emotions for the couple. Lex is up to his usual evil schemes for power but Clark continues to try to see the good in Lex. I love this series and anyone who has gotten hooked from the first season will love this season also.
Despite the writers strike still a great season 5 out of 5 stars.

Though hampered by the writer's strike, and the fact that many of our favorite character's contracts expired, I wanted to list some of the things I liked about season 7 and think it was almost as good as the amazing seasons 5/6 (caution of minor spoilers):
Millar Gough Ink still involved and true to form
Lana and Clark finally living together and the complications
Lex's buried good side briefly resurfaces.
Lana's dark side surfaces
The whole Lana, Lex, Lionel dynamic-great actors!
Lana Chloe and Clark working together
The addition of Kara and some cool Krypton background
Continued excellent music far beyond the usual tv series
Lex finally finding out Clark's secret, much like Lana finding it out at the end of season 6, was a strong moment.
I think a lot of negative reviews might stem from the fact that people know it will never be as good again with the strongest protagonists all leaving the show at the end of season 7

I never watched much of Angel when it was on the air. I didn't watch Buffy either, but I had always wanted to watch both based on the reviews and word of mouth. I saw just enough to tantalize but I always was reticent about diving into something half way through.
So earlier this year I bought the entire Buffy series on DVD and watched it in about two months, from start to finish. It went beyond my expectations with the great writing, intriguing stories, and interesting characters. So after finishing it I ended up getting Angel, to see where his story led to after he left Sunnydale.
Though both series were different I appreciated how they tied together for the four years they were on at the same time.
Buffy always had a more specific path to follow whereas Angel is much more meandering, with no real "Big Bad" that haunts him throughout an entire season. We get to see Angel and the supporting cast all shift, change, transform, and mature in so many different ways throughout the series, making it easy for me to attach to them and enjoy them both at their best and worst.
People have told me that Angel was darker than Buffy. For me, it was more that he did not have a specific path to follow. "We help the helpless" was the mantra for a long time but even with that it gets a little hazy in Angel's world as to what is supposed to happen. For Buffy, it was always clearer. At least the big picture.
Both series have so much to offer for fans that it would be hard for me to say which I liked better. Most of the folks who would think to pick up either series on DVD probably already have their minds made up and were previous fans. So I consider myself lucky that I was able to cough up the dough for both series and was able to watch them both, for the first time, episode to episode, back to back.

I love the Gilmore Girls wit and banter and this season was no exception. If you've ever watched the Gilmore Girls before then you are sure to love this last season. Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel once again make a mother daughter pair to die for!

I waited months to see this final season on TV. It was not forthcoming. I'm 61 years old and still watch the "Gilmore Girls" reruns when I get a chance. It was wonderful to finally see the rest of the story. I was not disappointed. Wish it didn't have to end.

Prison break continues to be a great "seat of the pants" show...Prison Break Season 3 lives up to the first two seasons. I highly recommend the entire series.

At first I kinda felt the 3rd season of Prison Break started off a little stale. Then by the third episode I was hooked as usual. You got Scofield dumped in the most horrific prison known to man. You got Bellick walking around half-naked lookin' like something the cat dragged in, after it threw it up. Mahone is going through some serious withdrawal issues. And Linc on the outside pretty much clueless. My boy Sucre is still hangin' around dedicated to Michael for all he's done. T-Bag continues his menacing wrath. Newcomers, Whistler and Lechero and the vicious Gretchen a.k.a Susan B. make for some very interesting storylines. I agree that that daggone writer's strike did make this season seems rushed. It's all worth it though to see Wentworth Miller all hot and sweaty between a rock and a hard place.

Of course, to understand the character interactions of "The L Word", it is best to begin with Season One.
You will immediately grasp that this series is a daytime soap opera with night time cable nudity. The plots & subplots are very weak, and right when you are ready to lose interest, two women take off their clothes and have softcore sex.
It has been said that men watching the series fast forward to the nude scenes, and women fast forward through the nude scenes to get back to the lame plots.
Mia Culpa: I gave it 5 stars for the nudity, and no stars for the poor writing. Men are so predictable.

It said that it would take almost 2weeks to get to me, it came less then a week. I love it. It plays well, brand new!!! no problems what so ever. I was worried just like anybody would be but its great and for the price i would deff shop again!! Thanks!

Season Two of the The Office is; hands-down the best season out of all the seasons so far. The latter ones just have captured the magic, IMHO. However; this is one DVD set I keep watching over and over. I highly recommend it for fans of this show!

This is not so much a review per se of the simpson's 11th season DVD package of each episode as it is a statement of the quality of the product.
Matt Groneing and company always puts out a top notch product. Disc's that are full of a boat load of extras such as deleted scenes, episodes with commentary, featurettes, hidden easter eggs and other things that we all have come to love and expect from Matt and FOX home video.
The artwork is awesome and the collectable Krusty the clown box is top notch as well. Unlike other DVD's that are collectable and made with "Gimic" packaging that can't be placed with your other DVD's, this one can still stand up and be placed in line with all your other Simpson's season editions as FOX as been smart enough to place the Krusty head package inside a plastic sleeve that keeps the package together and upright so it can be placed or shelved like the other season of the Simpsons.
Altogether I would give this a 5 out of 5 stars. Quality packaging along with quaility episodes and special features. A wonderful Christmas gift for any Simpson's fan.
Also this seasons episodes were some of the best. They include, The Mansion Family, Saddlesore Galactica, Bart to the Future, Treehouse of Horror X, Brother's Little Helper and many others including the poignant episode where Ned's wife is accidently killed, "Alone Again, Naturu-diddily"
So enjoy all 22 Season 11 episodes and the countless special features which include audio commentary on ALL episodes, deleted scenes, original Sketches, Animation showcase, In line with Matt Groening, The many Faces of Krusty the clown plus many more. Also included is a Season 11 mini-booklet that contains all information on each and every episodes along with the credits and other information plus trivia.
Special guests that are in this seasons episodes include Lucy lawless, Kid rock, Dick Clark, Tim robbins, Butch Patrick, Jay North, Willie Nelson, Ron Howard, Henry Winkler, The B-52's, Penn & Teller and Britney spears as well as many many more.
You really can't pass up this seasons adventures which include Lisa growing up to become President, Moe getting a facelift, Bart and Homer end up in a Leper colony, Homer annoys Mel Gibson, Apu and Manjula have octuplets and Homer is abducted by evil horse-jockey trolls and Bart goes beserk on ADD medicine and plows through Springfield in a tank. By any standard other than being the last season of the Wire, this would be a five-star season. It's incredible, and definitely must-see television for anyone willing to invest the time to understand it. However, I would say that it is clearly the worst of the five seasons, for two reasons. One has to do with the actual story, which in this season takes a slight turn towards the fantastical and unrealistic, with Jimmy McNulty's mildly absurd gambit for additional funding. More importantly though, this is the first season in which the show seems to have an axe to grind, in this case against the Baltimore Sun. The first four seasons are gorgeously balanced in their presentation of everything. This one is merely well-balanced, if that makes sense. Nevertheless, I absolutely recommend it.

I have all 4 seasons and try to watch 1 episode a night . Want something to make you laugh, this is it. The whole crew on this set are perfect. Charley Sheen at his all time Best!!
