I agree, there are not many shows out there that the whole family can sit and watch together! We love watching the Waltons with our kids and they enjoy it as much as we do!

This is the point of the waltons where the main cast is GONE ALL GONE. Grandpa is dead, John curtis is dead, Grandma is not getting much appearence due to her lack of speech, the mother is back for only 12/24 episodes and after waiting approx. 3 seasons for the return of John-Boy, he's finally back AS A NEW ACTOR. This is not the Waltons we love. That is 5 CHARACTERS CHANGED. This season is a waste.I can't talk about the set because it is not yet released but THE CAST IS GOING DOWN IN QUALITY. I rated this a 2 instead of 1 because at least we get Jim-Bob, the Dad, Ben, Jason, Mary Ellen , Aaron and SOME OF MOM AND GRANDMA.

I love the Waltons. I have all 7 seasons so far and will get season 8 just as soon as it is released! My favorite character was Grandpa - so I am sad that he passed away so soon in the series. However, these are just as great as well. Season 9 is the last season - HOWEVER - they made several movies after that. I hope these movies are included as a Season 10 (so to speak). Just like Little House on the Prairie made their last season with their movies.

I'll spare the reasons why the show is loved, how great the restoration looks, the fact season 1 has been remastered for this, et cetera... we all know it's great and other people have said it all already. :) But I will talk about the packaging.

The complete series box - take it out of the plastic and it's a rectangle with the heart shape over it. Pull up on the heart to reveal the discs, which have no individual protection, only a cardboard insert backing each disc -- this means, go out to the store and buy a case of 50 paper sleeves and ditch the cardboard inserts inside this box.

I have yet to inspect every disc, and I hope none is severely scratched. Not likely; I had worse trouble with the Cosby Show 25th anniversary set, and those issues were surprisingly few and minor -- and I bought envelopes for those discs too.

It's a bit on the cheap side, this box, but even having to do the extra work in procuring disc envelopes, for an extra $4, it's a good price for a great series. But expect this trend to continue for many more shows; particularly complete series sets.

If this is the way of the future, I hope more companies do what was done for "Sanford and Son - the complete series": One plastic tray/caddy with all the discs inside and fitted with one cardboard piece. No fuss, no muss. Easy to repackage with envelopes and put back into the main box too, unlike "The Cosby Show".

This season is far inferior to the previous three; the characters lack plausible motivations, the story is increasingly soapy, and the tornado is so unrealistic that it takes one directly out of the storyline. However, the worst aspect is the ending: it is so anti-climatic and uninteresting that not only does it fail to wrap up season 4, it sapped all interest for season 5.

This season of Desperate Housewives is one of the best with several interesting storylines.

Katherine Mayfair comes to Wisteria Lane after an absence of many years with her daughter Dylan and new husband (who has a few mysteries of his own). Dylan and Julie Myer used to be friends when Dylan lived on Wisteria Lane, they pick up where they left off but there is something different about Dylan (especially considering she can't remember living on Wisteria Lane when she moved when she was 6) Dylan wants to find her father and enlist Julie to help her, but when he shows up it becomes apparent why Dylan can not remember living on Wisteria Lane.

Gabby Solis is courted by Victor Lang who is the Mayor of Fairview They get married, but soon Gabby is in the arms of her ex Carlos and then tries to hide her affair from her new husband.

Carlos Solis had been having an affair with Edie Britt, but soon after a fight about them starting a family he is in the arms of his ex Gabby who had just got married.

Susan Myer had been involved with Brit Ian and was about to get married to him before her ex boyfriend Mike Delfino regained the memory he had lost in a car accident. Soon she could not make up her mind, but after Ian broke up with her she and Mike got married and she soon found out that she was pregnant.

Bree Hodge just got back from a honeymoon with her new husband Orson and she is pregnant, so so her friends think. It turns out that she is just pretending to be pregnant because she is protecting her teenage daughter Danielle who is pregnant. She has a hard time keeping the secret and when Danielle comes back it is even harder. Edie (the baby's great aunt) soon finds out and blackmails Bree who is forced to tell the whole story to her friends (and leads to this seasons mystery with Edie's new hubby)

Then there is Lynette Scavo who finds out that she has cancer and also has to deal with her wicked step-daughter who tries to make her life difficult

The storylines all come together in the last episode when a tornado comes down on Wisteria Lane.

What is the reason Dylan can not remember living on Wisteria Lane? What happens to Gabby, Carlos, Lynette, Susan, and Bree watch the fourth season of Desperate Housewives

I own and loved West Wing until... Season 6 and 7 was no longer witty, intelligent, funny etc. I was surprised that Season 6 was not canceled half the way through. The only reason I watched towards the end was because I watched since the start. I only give it 2 stars because I care for the actors. Was not their fault they had bad writers.

I highly recommend this series for those who appreciate things that can elevate conversation and raise the level of the debate. The West Wing reminds me of how good TV programming and writing could be. I loved watching this series both originally as they aired as well as having the ability to watch them at my leisure.

One day, I was sitting in the living room with my 7 year old reading a book while she was watching television. In between shows, there was a snippet on Disney Channel where her favorite star, Miley Cyrus, sang a song with a different band...Doctor Teeth and the Electric Mayhem. I tried to explain to my daughter how we watched the Muppet Show as a family every Sunday night, and was inspired to buy this set the next day. She loves them, and I love watching them with her. Just as amusing today as it was when I was her age.
I will be picking up the later seasons as well.

This is a great show and says true to the story of Terminator. I read somewhere that they might tie this show with the new Terminator movie said to be out this coming summer. Over all this is a great show and a must buy. Support the people that make great show so that they may continue to make movie and shows that we all love. Can't wait to buy the next season.

My husband is a big Muppets fan, and when he found out Season Three was out on DVD, he didn't even ask.. he just ordered it. sure, some of the guests stars we are like: Huh? whozzat? but all in all, it's a great romp overall.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force Volume Six is o.k. There are some genuinly funny stuff here, but the "Carl's Pissed" segments are the best part of the whole boxset. "Shake Like Me" is going to rile a lot of people up, but it's still pretty funny. The episode about the dummies is the absolute stupidest thing I've ever seen and the creators should be embarrased to have to have their names associated with it. "Marines" is hilarious, probably the funniest episode on the whole thing. "Bible Fruit" is kinda lame, but I could be prejudiced since I don't care for David Cross. All in all, a good buy for serious collectors, but really remarkable enough for the casual viewer. Then again, who is buying so obscure a cartoon as ATHF who is not a serious viewer? By far, volume six is leagues above volume five, but the shows best years seem to behind it.

I went into seeing this movie thinking it would be just another dumb remake of a TV show. I was very wrong about that. The movie was entertaining and had good action from beginning to end. I mean the fight scenes were well coreographed as well as the explosions/special effects were well done. This is the first movie that Carrell had the leading role that I really liked. The supporting cast also meshed well to make this a good movie. I would recommend this movie for anyone looking for a good laugh and some action.

I have been a fan of csi since tha start and can highly recommend the main csi show, i think the new york spin off is weak, the characters a bit souless and the miami one is nearly as good as the original, but horatio (the lead detective) is a bit of a poser and a bit hard to warm up to. The show is very entertaining, well written and apart from one issue very consistant, the show makes you think, but not stress you out trying to follow the cases.

This season grissom's co-worker/love interst sarah leaves the show. This helps strengthen the show as she has been a bit of a week link in the show, and the relationship between the two has been largely forgotten for most of each season, so is was nice for some sort of finality for the relationship. Warrick also leaves at the end of the seaason. Gil Grissom is by far the best aspect of the show, but unfortunatley he is leaving the show soon too after the next season, and will only be doing guest spots on the show, to be replaced by Laurence Fishburne, which i am a bit skeptical of personally, his placement and the loss of so many original cast could easily mean the unfortunate end of the series. I recommend this set and especially the previous season, but you should be pre warned you get charged the same price as prior seasons, but because of the writer strike you only get thirteen episodes, and the episode crossover from comedy series two and a half men is not included sadly (i am a fan of this show also). Because of these issues dragging the brilliant show down i have only given 4 stars
