This is the second season in this interesting British mystery series. Very unconventional but good stories and some really enjoyable characters.

I've never enjoyed a British series as much as this one with two such unique main characters. I wish they had made more "Jonathan Creek" series!!
The Magic of Johnathan Creek 4 out of 5 stars.

Johnathan Creek is a funny mystery series with colorful characters. The twist is that Johnathan,(Alan Davies) who lives in an old windmill and designs tricks for a magician, solves crimes by figuring out how the impossible was possible. He is an intellectual, a logical and patient companion to Caroline Quentins disheveled character , an erstwhile crime writer. She is always late, and wildly disorganized and constantly stuffing her face with anything edible. Sexual tension comes into play in a comedic fashion and is never brought to any fulfillment. Nice for the family.
Such garbage - I LOVE IT! 5 out of 5 stars.

I first met Alan Davies on the Stephen Fry comedy "QI" - a comedy game show where Alan shows his true colors: a clown and a twit. So when I first watched Jonathan Creek I assumed he'd be the sidekick. Nope. He's the ultra-brilliant detective. This series is full of wit and charm and never takes itself too seriously. The puzzles are utterly implausible, but the charm is in watching Jonathan Creek reluctantly get sucked into solving them more than how he does it. The Englishism "most delightful" is a perfect description for this series!
