Awesome series, worth the price for the three seasons and countig...Barney is probably the greatest character in it.

HIMYM season three is a must haev for the HIMYM fan. the series continues to bring laughs in with the increadiblly funny past of Ted Mosby. all the main carracters from the first two seasons return and add a few new characters to the bunch. this season also contects back to some of the funnier episodes from the first two seasons. if you liked the first two seasons of HIMYM this is a must have for your collection. If you have never seen HIMYM then i would recomend you start at the begining with season one. alot of the great humor in this season is only funny if you have seen the previous episodes that it refrences.
Season 3 doesn't disappoint! 5 out of 5 stars.

I was a little hesitant after reading some reviews that this season wasn't as funny as the first 2, but I'm glad I got it. Like the first two seasons, I watched it in a few days and laughed practically nonstop. How can you not smile with anticipation about "Slapsgiving"? Plus Neil Patrick Harris has never been funnier. Hopefully this has a long run left, it really is the best comedy on right now.

This season continues to catch the viewer, presenting very funny situations and allows each character to shine in particular. I intend to continue buying the following seasons and follow the show on TV as well.

Before I started to watch this show, I had never seen a single episode. Being a fan of Alyson Hannigan, I had to give it a chance. As soon as I got the first season, I had to watch the second and the third. The show's charm has endeared itself to me, and it has that special something that makes a sitcom really special. It can be funny and have moments of silent curiosity... And what I mean by that is when they talk about the never seen but always talked about 'mother', you can't help but wonder who she is. And like the ending to a good movie, you have to know who she is, and how she factors into the wonderful group of characters that has been developed on the series. Fitting together like puzzle pieces, this is a group of friends I could follow around for a long time to come.

How I Met Your Mother is a different style of tv show. It's real and quirky and super funny! This show is worth your time. Get in at any point and you'll want to start from th beginning.

This show is great. I missed the first season, so I've been catching up. The first season is great.
If you're reading this and contemplating buying it, you probably already know that. So I'll discuss the extras: A handful of the episodes have commentary either by some combination of writers, creators, actors and director. They don't say much, but it is fun to listen to if you're a fan of the show or the actors.
You will learn about who recorded the title song and which real bar the bar from the show is based upon. The other extras are fun: a video montage and a year-one yearbook in particular.

Amazon currently shows a preorder price of $89.99 for this 3-season collection.
They currently sell Season 1, Season 2, and a preorder of Season 3 for a combined price of $87.97
Why buy this 3-season box set when you could buy all three individually for cheaper?

Currently amazon is selling How I Met Your Mother Seasons 1-3 for $107.99.
You can go to Walmart right now and buy all three seasons for $87.58 plus tax.
Not only is it cheaper, but you'll have them right away.

First of all, squabble over a couple dollars is silly. But if you wait a couple months, prices drop. Why do you even bother buying this as soon as it is released if you are worried about a few bucks.....wait a couple months and prices drop.......you paid over $80 in Oct and I paid under $50 in Dec. if you are worried about a couple bucks, then wait a couple months and you can save over $40.
