i own the three season and for my this is series is excellent the combination of suspense and comedy with some parts of urban legends i mind this series got it all

The third season keeps the show rolling with the main story line of Dean's impending death on track with all their side stories as well. It sheds light into how this life takes a toll on them but keeps their witty banter instilled in each show as well.

I love this product! (of course that has nothing to do with Amazon. I'm just a SN geek.) It was delivered on time. I've enjoyed watching it with my siblings. Sometimes the discs skip, but I can never tell if it is the DVD player we are using or the DVDs themselves. Needless to say, I'll keep them forever! :D

Season 3 is as good as the first 2. The Winchester men are at it again, giving their all in bringing down the bad things, and sometimes not.... There is lots of action, suspense, and surprises. Some episodes, especially the last one, stunned, amazed, and scared me. I highly recommend Season 3 - watch it!

I love everything I order from amazon most of the time. Anyway I love this DVD set b/c it shows where the show started in a way where you couldn't see it in the TV show. I loved it truly and I would recommend it to anyone who loves Supernatural the show. And even if you aren't a fan of the show this a great way for you to see what the show is all about trust me you will get hooked!! Always ~~prissy~~

I LOVED THE SPOOKINESS OF THE SHOW.ESP.THE CREEPIE SCARECROW.DEAN AND SAM DID A GREAT JOB.WE ,MY HOLE FAM LOVES SUPERNATURAL.I REALLY ENJOY THE ONES WITH SOME KIND OF MONSTER IN IT.VAMPS,WEARWOLFS,ETC.HEY THEY COULD MAKE A SHOW ON THE CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON.THAT WOULD BE GREAT..

As this is one of my absolute must see TV shows, it is easy to give this item a rave review. I didn't get tostart watching supernatural until the middle of the second season and was blown away by the well written scripts and the interplay between the main characters. Not since The X Files has a show been able to hold my attention for a complete hour and yet it always leaves me wanting more. So being able to watch the first season where John Winchester plays an important part has answered a lot of questions, and at the same time opens an entirely new set of questions which I hope the writers get season after season to answer!

Supernatural is, frankly, one of the more surprising pleasures available on television at this time. When I first heard about it, it was billed as Route 66 meets the X-files. Two guys, on the road together, fighting monsters and investigating paranormal mysteries. A buddy show. Maybe a little horror thrown in.

Well, this show has turned out to be so much more than that. This show is a family show at its core, but I don't mean one that you can watch with your whole family--this is only for teenagers and older. The scary monsters that we were promised from the first? Yes, they are here, and they are at times scream out loud scary. I don't really love horror films, but I enjoy a good scare now and again, and this really fits the bill for me. But about the "Family" show tag I used--the two guys are brothers, and their relationship makes the show. The two are intensely protective of each other, often to their own detriment. Other members of the family are also involved, and there is an extended family of people with whom they work. Monster of the week stories pepper the series, but the show shines best when the backstory, the mythology arc is explored. The mythology is as deep as the X-files ever was, but less confusing and more goal directed. It feels like Eric Kripke (the Executive Producer) has a firm grip on where the overall story is going. Where Heroes (a show which I really do enjoy) often meanders, wandering off in confusing ways, Supernatural keeps serious focus on plot, plot, plot.

The blu-ray production of season three is a real joy to watch. Blacks are deep but well distinguished one from another, and the picture is very crisp. Sound is good. The special features on this one range from the silly to the funny to the very informative, much like on previous editions.

If you've heard about this show, and wondered if you should give it a chance, yes you should. Start with season 1--it is well worth your time. But season three completely blows previous seasons out of the water with its intense narrative, and performances from the lead actors that are harrowing. The final scene of the final episode of season 3...well, chills up and down my spine is an understatement.

I must admit that Supernatural is one of my favourite shows. I have both seasons, and even the weakest episode from each season is stronger than the strongest episode of many of the television series I have seen over the years. The episodes are well written and the cast works together quite well. The tone of each season runs from amusing, like in Hell House (Season 1) and Hollywood Bablyon (Season 2), to downright sad/tragic, like in Heart (Season 2), with the rest of the shows falling somewhere in between. Many of the episodes are scary, such as the episode with the clown, but they transcend mere horror. I won't give away too many plot points, but I will say that this is a series I am proud to say I own, and I am waiting for the third season to come out on DVD.

why would you pay so much more for a two pack of the seasons when you could purchase the seasons seperately and get it for cheaper??? its the exact same thing. doesnt look like anything extra added to it. i dont understand why they even bothered with this. i guess its to lure in people who dont know how to shop around for decent prices.
