NBC really, really screwed up on season 7. Seemed like the episodes were on at random times, and never 2 weeks in a row.

Also, the season 7 episodes were all over the place, a couple of them were even BAD.

Then there's the "finale". What a piece of garbage that was.

And this is coming from a loooooooong time Scrubs fan who owns Season 1-6 on DVD.

I refuse to buy the heavily-messed-up season 7 on DVD unless ABC brings Scrubs back and gets it back on track. If season 8 is actually released and they fix what NBC broke so badly, I'll re-consider the $20 for 7.

It's all good. Yeah, season 3 is slightly better because obviously there's more eps. Season 4 is trimmed slightly due to the WGA strike but it was worth it. The season finale two-parter is fantastic.

I must admit that this season is not as good as the 3rd. However, if you are a fan of the show, then you will love it as much as I did! Characters are continuing to grow, discover and get into all sorts of situations. The injuries have also gone up a notch. There is raw emotion, sex and the truth behind it all. It wont disappoint :-)

Season VI is every bit the action, excitement, drama......as seasons I-V. We watched it until 4am without realizing how much time had passed (we are normally early birds!!) We do not have the patience for the week to week suspense and enjoy watching the whole season, commercial free. Anticipating season VII on DVD.....unfortunately this will be the final season :-(

Continuing directly after season 5, Vic and the Strike Team are distraught over Lem's death. Shane has been overcome by guilt and becomes reckless and suicidal. Sent an e-mail to the seller, but no response. DVD is weird, hard to get to 'menu' to select chapter. On almost every show,often more than once, it skips or freezes. Only DVD I have this problem with.

Although season two is not as good as season one, Dexter remains my favorite. Still abiding his "code" (Don't kill anyone who doesn't REALLY deserve it), Dexter is now learning that he has feelings after all.

Dexter lives what many of us barely dare to dream, avenge the victims of killers by showing them what they did and then taking the same thing they had taken from their victims before: Their lives.

And he still remains a friendly, sympathetic guy, all the way.

Just... SLAMMIN'!

With the way the debut season ended, you might think that they people in charge couldn't come up with anything to top that. But they do and in spades too whether it's Dexter's "alleged drug addiction", the sponsor that is supposed to be helping him said addiction. But she really has MANY issues going on with her which will made clear through the season. I will just say the woman gives Glenn Close (Fatal Attraction) a good name. Also Dexter is having issues with his girlfriend and a prolonged stay by her mother (JoBeth Williams) only conpounds the problems between them.

Also one of his coworkers is on to him and late night murderous dealings and basically lets him know it every occasion whether by stalking him or just being the all around jerk that Doakes is throughout the show. Along Lt. LaGuerta who's lost her job and is undercover (literally) trying to get it back by any means necessary. Dex's sister Deb is having her own issues still reeling from her having the Ice Truck Killer as her steady boyfriend. She finally finds someone and starts second guessing things and all that. Another player comes in as well from the FBI, Agent Lundy who's task is to be bring in the new serial killer that no one knows is right under their noses.

There are so many things going on in this season that its hard to believe that everything will get resolved but just look out for the last 2 or 3 episodes of this season to see how it does just that. I won't say anymore other than, if your thinking about getting into the show start off at Season 1 and believe me. By the time you get the second season of this show. You will know others already know about Dexter. It's a well done show, with an excellent cast and storylines as well.

I can't wait until season 3 rolls around on dvd.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is my comfort food. When everything was going wrong I simply turned to the world of Buffy. On bad days, good days, even boring days, I can find myself selecting an episode that I could relate to at the moment and just dive in. The show never ceases to put a smile on my face and brighten my day. Buffy is at the heart of any teenager or even grown up who can look back on their life and say "hey I remember how that felt". While it won't be an instant winner for every person like it was for me, the show still has life lessons for everyone while throwing in a witty pun.

So do I recommend this for other people? Yes. Of course, I don't want people to simply take my opinion and spend big bucks on a complete collection of a show they are skeptical of. Instead I hope for those of you who don't know much about the show that you find a place that will let you rent the first two seasons (or borrow from a friend you know that has it). You can usually decide whether you like it or not by the end of season two (NOTE: season one is not that developed and only lasts 12 episodes, while season two has 22 episodes in which the character development is much more in depth) . While it is nice to view the entire series before buying this collection, which may take some time (due to that fact that there are seven season and a whopping 144 total episodes) but if you find yourself hooked from the start it might not be a bad idea. The chosen collection comes with all 144 episodes (each looking like the original disc found the complete season boxed sets) and it comes with a bonus special feature disc. This collection is very compact so it takes up less space than if you were to buy the original complete season boxed sets (not the slim set versions)

Now for those of you who are already Buffy fans:

1. This is the perfect set, all in one Buffy DVD buy. If you don't own the other releases already I totally recommend this. If you already own the complete season sets this is not a necessary buy. The huge difference is the design and bonus disc.
2. However if you are like me and you find that your DVD collection is a little worn out (In my case I own the complete season boxed sets 1-7 and The Chosen Collection only because my older sets -for example most my season three discs - were scratched and some wouldn't play. So I purchased this item when it was at a gold box deal which was well worth it to watch those episodes again. For the ones not in need of a replacement it was nice knowing I have a back up)
3. If you are crazy and must own everything...you might have some obsession problems. Just kidding. It's your decision to buy all DVD's Buffy related. But seriously that could get pretty pricey...

Overall I find this to be the best show I have ever seen. And while I WISH everyone in the world would just appreciate Joss's brilliant creation, I can't (where's Anya when you need her. Lol) I hope those of you first timers will give it a chance because it really is a well deserving show. For many, you either Love it or Hate it. I hope this helps make your decision easier.

Season 3 & 4 rival each other, in my opinion, for best season. (Season 5 is definitely the most fun, and Season 6 is definitely the most serious of the bunch)

I love this season because the comedy is so fresh and fun. The storylines are great, and the fashion is in its most forward stage.
In this season, you will find such great quotes as: "I sound like a perverted Nancy Drew." Aidan is introduced and Big makes a steamy comeback, while Charlotte meets the man of her dreams Trey.

And the clothes in the 2 L.A. episodes are so outrageous: i.e. Carrie's neon green bathing suit and her hot pink sequin fanny pack.

Great season--must own!!!

A short, but sweet season, I love the fun of season 5.

Of all the heavy relationships, serious issues, and "true life" this show tends to embody, season 5 is nice for its frivolity.

True it is shorter than any other season, but a savvy shopper can find it for a smaller price (if Amazon ever fails, try a video rental sale when they sell their former rentals)

The episodes make you happy to be a girl! "Anchors Away" is great, soo many boobs, all of them seen by Carrie (And what a great song in the end!). "Unoriginal Sin" allows us to see the truly lawyer-ific side of Miranda, and she goes up against the "desperate" Catholic church, while Carrie must change the name of her column due to lack of activity: --- & the City. "Luck Be an Old Lady" is great if only for it being Charlotte's "thirty-faux" birthday! "Cover Girl" Carrie's head on Madonna's body as a mock up for her book cover, in addition to the "taste" difference between Carrie and Samantha in their clash over what is sexy makes this episode hilarious and we get the Amy Sedaris and Molly Shannon cameos! "Plus One ..." a fun episode complete with Miranda's Freudian moment and Carrie's "skinned: date, Samantha. "Critical Condition" is a throw away episode ... Samantha and Miranda come to an understanding, Carrie freaks out about what she might have done to Aidan, and Charlotte refuses to take Bunny's harsh treatment "lying down." "The Big Journey" is great, just the beginning alone can be re-watched over and over: "I need a man on top of me" and the "very 'Some Like It Hot'" reference is hilarious. But this episode is all about Carrie, no doubt. "I Love A Charade" is a snoozer, but Charlotte steals the show with her new playmate, Harry ... unlikely and very entertaining.

But based on what everyone else has been saying maybe only die hard fans should buy it, but everyone who enjoys SATC should see it once!
