Too bad it is the last 4 out of 5 stars.

Season 5 of Las Vegas starts out slow, but by the end it is as fun and exciting as the first 4. It is too bad it is the last sean because it ends with a lot of cliff hangers. They should make a movie or something to conclude the series. If you like Las Vegas you will enjoy this season.

Las Vegas Season 5 5 out of 5 stars.

Season five of Las Vegas was a great continuation of an excellent series even with the loss of James Caan. I beleive that Tom Selleck was a good replacement. Pity it got the axe. Hoping they make a movie to finish the story of where season five left off. Once again thanks for the prompt delivery.

Las Vegas: Season Four 5 out of 5 stars.

I have the entire series in my library with the exception of Season Five which isn't out yet. The character developement during the years it was on TV endeared you to the cast. My wife and I looked forward each week to the next installment and we are hoping the powers that be will consider a movie or two in the future.. Anyway once you start watching you will get hooked...

Such a great show 5 out of 5 stars.

This is a great season and I'm only two discs into it so far. I am addicted to this show but I'm horrified to hear that Ed Deline may have left? I hope it's all vicious rumors and lies.

Well I enjoyed this season quite alot 4 out of 5 stars.

Las Vegas has always been a TV show that did the thing it was meant to do, and thats entertain me.

Sure it is a little bit shorter than the other seasons but even still is definitely worth it if you enjoyed the previous seasons.
There are some good episodes like when Sam finds a dead stripper in one of her clients rooms or the Xmas episode where Danny's car gets stolen, then destroyed.

Las Vegas is a enjoyable experience with plenty of laughs to be had, no question a keeper.

Editorial Review:

Slick, stylish, and fast-paced, Las Vegas is a high-tech hybrid of 1970s' Vega$ and 1980s' Hotel. Created by Gary Scott Thompson (The Fast and the Furious), season 1 includes all 23 episodes of the NBC dramedy's. Set in the fictional Montecito Resort and Casino, the show revolves around surveillance expert and ex-Marine Danny McCoy (Josh Duhamel, Win a Date with Tad Hamilton). McCoy reports to the president of operations and ex-CIA operative "Big" Ed Deline (the inimitable James Caan). If Duhamel is the show's charisma, Caan is the gravitas. The attractive cast is rounded out by Vanessa Marcil as casino host Sam Marquez, Nikki Cox as event coordinator Mary Connell, James Lesure as valet Mike Cannon, Marsha Thomason as pit boss Nessa Holt, Cheryl Ladd as Deline's wife Jillian, and model Molly Sims as Deline's daughter Delinda.

From the start, Las Vegas has attracted a diverse array of guest stars, from musicians, like Little Richard ("New Orleans"), to movie stars, like Sean "Samwise" Astin ("You Can't Take It With You"). Even "Mr. Las Vegas" himself, Wayne Newton, puts in an appearance ("Pros and Cons"). Other notable guests include Elliot Gould ("Jokers and Fools"), Jean-Claude Van Damme ("Die Fast, Die Furious"), and Alec Baldwin ("Hellraisers and Heartbreakers"), hot off his Oscar-nominated turn in The Cooler.

First used in heist hit Ocean's 11, Elvis Presley's "A Little Less Conversation" (JXL remix) is the Las Vegas theme song. On the DVD set, however, it's replaced by "Let It Ride" on all episodes except the pilot. Also, the subtitle "Uncut and Uncensored" indicates footage too hot for network TV, but the additions are minor. While a few seconds have been added to the more risqué sex/poolside scenes, any other changes from the original broadcast are difficult to detect. --Kathleen C. Fennessy

Stop Blaming Universal! 4 out of 5 stars.
1 of 2 people found this review helpful.

Ok this review isn't about how great this season is, but rather about the quality of the disks Universal provide in their sets. I do have the first season of this show, & I'm still working my way through it. So far I have no complaints with the show, or the disks. I've heard a number of people carrying on about how poor the disks are with Universal, but I have purchased many dvd sets from amazon, by Universal, & the disks I believe are not what is causing people the problems they keep bagging Universal for. Disks aren't the only factor customers should considered when wanting to blame someone for problems when trying to play their DVD sets. DVD players can be the cause of the problem, I know this because we have about 4 DVD players in our household. Some of them will work with these disks while others won't. Please don't ignore this set, or any other set from Universal because some people are pointing the finger of blame at Universal, rather than at the DVD player they currently use.

Cheers!

Great DVD... 5 out of 5 stars.

I have to say when you order the seasons of LAS VEGAS on DVD it is great because they are all uncut and uncensored so you get to see the real TV show as it is supposed to be. Not like the TV version. This is so much better!!!!

i love las vegas & josh duhamel! 5 out of 5 stars.

i love this show, the place, the cast, the different stories, the energy that the whole cast brings to the show: action, drama, romance, comedy and their friendship with each other.

really an enjoyable show to watch.

when is season 4 coming to DVD? im excited to know what happened with the wedding.
(here in Japan, season 2 has wrapped up and season 3 is just about done, i want to know about season 4!)

its been great to have all seasons on DVD.
i only wish that for the future DVDs that the actors would be included in the commentary special feature as they were included in season 1 DVD.
its always great to hear about their personal experiences of the making of LAS VEGAS and to hear of their own inside jokes of what happened during that particular scene.

Take a lively armchair visit to some of the exceptional resort hotels throughout the United States. Along the way, host Samantha Brown experiences first-hand what makes these hotel destinations popular, appealing, unique, and memorable. Each episode presents an entertaining "story" of up to two different hotel destinations, complete with encounters and eccentricities that creatively show and tell what makes each hotel a great experience. Episode 8: Las Vegas - a city that thrives on superlatives. It's the largest city in Nevada...and although it sits in the northern half of the Mojave Desert, that doesn't keep it from being one of the top tourist destinations in the country. Samantha Brown is on her way to a hotel that is one of the newer additions to the Las Vegas skyline, an experience a hotel that even by Vegas standards is in a class of its own: Bellagio. Bellagio was built to provide another dimension to Las Vegas: exquisite and sophisticated elegance and beauty. From its upscale boutiques (Giorgio Armani, Prada, Tiffany & Co., Yves St. Laurent, and Gucci), to an ultimate dining experience where guests are surrounded by original Picasso masterpieces, to the only fine arts gallery within a Las Vegas Casino, Bellagio is an original! Each episode presents an entertaining "story" of up to two different hotel destinations, complete with encounters and eccentricities that creatively show and tell what makes each hotel a great experience. Episode 3: In some cities hotels are built near attractions, but in the glitzy metropolis of Las Vegas the hotels ARE the attractions. Join Samantha Brown as she books a room at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Nevada's city of neon. Hotels in Las Vegas are anything but typical and the Mandalay Bay certainly carves its own unique style out of its desert surroundings. Samantha descends into the depths to come face-to-face with sharks, manta rays, and other tropical fish that lurk in the Mandalay Bay's underwater world, Shark Reef. Then, without leaving the hotel's property, Samantha shows viewers how an afternoon at the beach takes on a whole new meaning in the Nevada desert. And Samantha joins 300 guests for a very unusual Las Vegas style buffet - the "House of Blues" Southern-style Sunday Gospel Brunch, where everyone gets a little "alleluia" with their bacon and eggs! The odds are you'll find the Mandalay Bay Resort one of Las Vegas's Great Hotels. This product is manufactured on demand using DVD-R recordable media. Amazon.com's standard return policy will apply.
