I'm a huge Tibette fan!! I never seen any other actors/actresses who have the best chemistry on screen, like JB and LuH. So after all the drama, the heartache, FINALLY my favorite coupLe in the show are BACK TOGETHER! And hope this time it'll stick! Lots of Laughter this season which I Love! and much more Tibette's Love this season as well! I can't wait to own this DVD! Most importantly, can't wait for the new season, which sadly would be the Last one. I don't know what I'd do when the show ended, although there will be a spin-off, but still don't know which character. Love the L word! :)

The Fifth season of The L Word is a must have for every fans of the show. Yes, Bette and Tina are back together and that is by far the greatest plot of season 5. I just hope that they will be together at the end of season 6....It's a great season. Alice, Tasha, Kit, Shane, Helena, Jodi, Phyllis, Max and of course Jenny are all back. However Papi and Angus are not (Papi will be back in season 6). I give it 4 stars, because i think that season 4 was better.

This one probably has the most laughs of any of them. I really like season 6, but this is close.
I also think the DVD menu is the easiest to use on this set. It flows much better and is layed out much better. I give it 5 out of 5. If you liked Will and Grace, you gotta own this.

I have not completed the entire season as yet, but It is all slowly coming to an end. I missed a few episodes when it was still on air, so it is nice to wrap up the "WaG" series with all consecutive episodes. The live episodes are sure to give you an extra laugh, as the cast desperately tries not to laugh and screw up their lines on camera.
All in all, It has been 8 wonderful seasons, and sadly all good things must come to an end.

This was a great show, but not this season, I felt it was a little boring and it didn't have the hillarious comments of Karen an Rosario (which was sick so she didn't appear in all the episodes) I'm glad the series is over, before all fans stopped seeing it.

I've spent the past 2 weeks watching seasons 1-4 (and I'm totally jonesing waiting for 5 to become available on DVD)and I almost feel I need to rewatch them all for perspective on the series so far. I have found each episode in each season to be immensely amusing, sometimes very touching, always interesting. I like that the plotlines address all facets and experiences of lesbian life.
My only complaint, really, is the out of control overt politicization so pervasive in the fourth season. I'm aware that most lesbians (in my experience) are rabidly and radically (and oppressively) Left. But for me, the rare Republican/Libertarian, the completely unrestrained Bush-bashing of season four somewhat took away from the overall quality of the series as a whole.
I wonder how these characters, or their real life counterparts, would fare in a country controlled by Wahabi fascists? If they think the Christian Right has an agenda (and it does) for dealing with "alternative lifestyles", that's nothing compared to the Islamic "final solution". Wake up, Lesbians of America. Remember 9/11?

In this season you can tell the cast is beginning to grow tired of the show. The writing is also not at it's best. However, this still remains one of the best shows to grace the T.V. screen. There are a few standout episodes and the characters begin preparing for Season 8, their final season. I particularly felt 'Grace' led many of the episodes in the season. While she isn't my favorite character, I felt she helps make this season more enjoyable. Definitely worth your money and certainly a must for any collecter. The Thanksgiving episode with 'Vince's' family is one of the best of all 8 seasons, which makes this a must have! Will & Grace' remains a winner!

A Will and Grace fan will take the great with the not so great. Some episodes may be better than others but it's the laughter that brings all fans together. I loved this season. I have loved every season. A true fan will embrace the energy and excitment each episodes brings.

Hilarious! Laugh riot. Will & Grace are the best, but Jack and Karen really help to carry the show. In this season we see appearances by John Cleese and Minnie Driver as Lyle and Lorraine Finster. Leo (Harry Connick, Jr.) is back as Grace's husband, and his ex-girlfriend, Diane, as played by Mira Sorvino turns out to be more than just Leo's ex-old lady love. There are some other great guest appearances as well (J-Lo, Blythe Danner, Candice Bergen, Tom Everett Scott). I love all the episodes, and the blooper reel is pretty darn funny in this season, too.

This is perhaps my favorite season of this clever show. All of the performers shine and make this a show you can watch over and over again. Although Debra Messing does not appear as much in this season, and she is missed, the cast still manages to make it work. When 'Grace' does appear she has an energy and fire that makes this a stellar season for her. You also see Eric McCormick lead this ensemble to perfection this season, seeing many of his vulnerablities. Karen and Jack also step up to the plate and get more screen time. You can't help but fall in love with this show, and this season. A must have for your collection.

Killing off the best character and then replacing her with several new ones who not only aren't interesting, they are sometimes actually painful (or painfully boring) to watch onscreen? I loved this show until the 3rd season came out. If I was a less patient person I would have given up after this point. Thankfully, the show starts redeeming itself in season 4.

It is interesting, or worrisome, how many people comment about their preception of Jenny's
"stupidity" or how "borning" the character is. I find the character's succintness soooo satisfying. She consistently nails people in rather few well-chosen words. She sees who the people around her are and tells them "like it is". During the early first season I found the Jenny character cloying and really annoying. But as I watched her evolve throughout the three seasons I found I really respect her as a woman who says what she means and means what she says. She's real and true to herself and her hard-won truths. Instead of zipping by the Jenny parts of the various episodes, I wish some of you would really hear what she has to say. Maybe you would see her for who and what she is and where she's been. How many of us truly meet and grapple with our demons and come out of the struggle with our hearts and minds not only intact but also with our wits honed to such a fine edge?
Season Three finds Jenny as well as all the other characters more deeply immersed in their "s**t" than ever before. I think this season depicts the pain and strength of Jenny, Dana, Alice, Billie, Bette, Helena, et al. and their ability to deal with the unfairness and complexity of life. Some may find this boring. I find it moving, involving, uplifting and wonderful. How sad some reviewers see Jenny's scenes as an ocassion to "fast forward to the sexy parts". Is that all your lives are about?

I'm enjoying the episodes, but I'm having this really weird experience. There are supposed to be 6 episodes on each disc, but for some reason, the menu on my discs show only three on each! Does anyone have any idea of what's going on here??

Of course, I had seen the WILL & GRACE series on TV but when I found them so incredibly priced on Amazon, I decided to buy seasons 1 thru 5. However, I found that buying each season individually was even lower than purchasing the "bundled" set of the same items, 1-5.

If you didn't feel the magic disappear at the start of season 4 you'll really FEEL IT NOW by the time you finish this season! Will & Grace was always a great show from the beginning and pure magic from seasons 1 - 3. But when season 4 started with Woody Harrelson as Grace's love interest the chemistry and magic between all the lead characters seem to disappear over night. Will & Grace never really had the FUNNY CRAZY lines but they worked well with what they were given. Instead all the good lines were given to Jack & Karen. Pretty much in my opinion for the shows 8 year run it's always secretly been called the Jack & Karen show. Anyways at this point since Will & Grace weren't even given any decent lines, the below average lines that were given they had to turn humorous which just came off really desperate and made the 2 characters even more annoying then they originally were. The show from this point just doesn't have any element to keep you tuning in each week and starts to decline quite gradually. Every episode of this season is almost a pain to watch. You try and look forward to the next laugh and all you get are bad jokes with bad a delivery from the actors and a lot of empty spaces in-between when waiting for the next joke. Every episode you could already tell this show was on its last legs. It wasn't about making people laugh anymore. It was more about learning a life lesson at the end of each episode. When a show starts to become learning about Life Lessons that's when it becomes like the Family Matters sitcom and SLOW torture. I was in shock that this show went on for 8 years. When the show 1st started and after an amazing season 3 I always thought this show would last longer then the over rated Friends sitcom. I also asked myself how are they gonna top the AMAZING 3rd season. But after season 4 it was time to hang up the hat and call it a day. As i mentioned it was always about Jack & Karen and the writers or producers really OVER USED the 2 characters to do crazy things and in all honesty i think the actors PASSION for doing the show started to dwindle. There comes a point in everyone's job if you're in the same position for years where you feel like you know what you're doing and that you've MASTERED the art of IT and nothing is a challenge anymore. That situation applies here and you can really feel that with the cast of Will & Grace. Despite that my review maybe coming off negative i do like all of the 4 main actors and this is Will & Grace so i rated it with a 4 star even though i wanted it to be 3 1/2. But because its Will & Grace i still give it a chance. Bare this in mind, the CAST became so GREAT at their CRAFT that they became INVALUABLE.

I'm not a gay person, and I have not had many gay friends, but I watched this series and found it to be tremendously moving and compelling. It's something that should be seen by everyone.
The acting by all concerned is incredible, and not just the powerhouse names like Al Pacino and Meryl Streep. Mary-Louise Parker is brilliant, as is Justin Kirk as Prior Walter, the main character (now doing great work in Weeds, along with Mary-Louise again). Emma Thompson's nurse is amazing. Tony Kushner's dialogue is endlessly funny, sad, provocative, blistering, heart-rending.
This movie goes way beyond mere sexual orientation. It will forever change--for the better--the way you view your fellow human beings.
Hopelessly intriguing, but confusing 5 out of 5 stars.

This film completely engrossed me, even though I couldn't for the life of me tell you what it was really, truly about. I mean, of course the film is about being gay in New York in the 1980s as a new and deadly disease swirls all around. Perhaps it was the fantasy sequences that got me.
The acting was fabulous, especially those actors (already mentioned many times by other reviewers) who took multiple roles. Justin Kirk and Jeffrey Wright were a wonder. I had only seen Wright in one other movie (Basquiat, that was him, wasn't it?) and I liked him then...
I still cannot figure out why Joe Pitt is shunned at the end, even as his mother becomes central to the in-group. Or, does Joe - the model of right-wing Republicanism who perhaps grows/changes least during the film - do the shunning?
Don't expect any easy answers or - perhaps - even likable characters in this one (I did like Prior and Harper Pitt, though). Do expect to be challenged to your core by this lengthy, entertaining, thought-provoking piece.

"Will and Grace, Season Two" was shipped fast and securely. This DVD was new and exactly as described...no flaws...perfect. Of course you have to be a fan of WILL AND GRACE in order to appreciate this type of humor. I thought it was great.

I am a BIG Will & Grace fan. I watch the show whenever I can and practically know every line from every show. Season 2 was one of the seasons that was missing from my collection and now it is almost complete. While "window" shopping on Amazon, I saw that Season 7 is now available and 8 is not far behind. After that, my collection will be complete! I am so excited and very happy with the product and at how quickly it came to my home. I have shared my experience with my friends and invited them to take a look at your website.
