I love this show! It reminds me of all the happy memories when I was growing up. I bought this for my sister and she loves it as well. Great buy!

Amazing! 5 out of 5 stars.

I adored the show when I watched it in Italian (I was like 10 years at that time).
Now that I'm 25 and I had the chance of watching it in the original version, I can't help loving it even more: amazing cast, funny stories, catchy songs...what more can you ask to a tv show?

Thank you, Amazon, for giving me the opportunity of affording to buy the whole collection! <3

Saved by the Bell - Seasons 3 & 4 are my favorite seasons of this nostaglic show. This show is the best teen comedy of all-time. I can watch these episodes over and over again and never get sick of them. Great cast and goofy plotlines but you will treasure this gem of a show forever. I highly recommend it!

Editorial Review:

As high school comedies for young viewers go, Saved by the Bell is as light as they come, yet there is something unusually addictive about it. No doubt that's because the series, set at Bayside High School in Pacific Palisades, California, balances fluffy stories with evolving relationships. It's no chore to watch every episode in this Saved by the Bell: Seasons 1 & 2 boxed set and feel satisfied with the touching, admirable growth and affection between key characters.

The show concerns teenager Zack Morris (Mark Paul Gosselaar) and his eclectic group of friends. Zack himself is a complicated fellow: he's a vain hound for the girls and a screw-up who sets attendance records for detention. But as the series progresses, he also demonstrates that he's a thoughtful kid, underneath it all, with insight and loyalty to others. Tiffani-Amber Thiessen plays Kelly Kapowski, a cheerleader and mall rat who gains seriousness of purpose and dignity over time, and who ends a rivalry between Zack and good-natured sexist jock A.C. Slater (Mario Lopez) by choosing the former--after he cleans up his act a bit. Jessie Murtle Spano (Elizabeth Berkley) may be the most interesting character: smart and given to alternative-lifestyle values, an unabashed feminist yet self-conscious about her height. (She towers over most boys interested in her). Samuel "Screech" Powers (Dustin Diamond) is the show's token nerd, but he defies the stereotype in many ways: In "Dancing to the Max," Kelly develops a crush on Screech after he tutors her in science, while in other episodes he wins a beauty contest and comes to the heroic aid of a chum more than once. What's nice about Saved by the Bell is the way these sundry friends all get to know and accept each other, creating unexpected bonds and encouraging honest support when the chips are down. Highlights include "The Election," in which Zack, typically, runs for class president against Jessie on a lark, then has to face real responsibility when he wins. In "The Prom," Kelly gives up her dream of attending the school prom after her dad loses his job; she's rewarded with Zack's own sacrifice to make sure she's not alone. --Tom Keogh

Saved by the Bell - Season Five includes the Tori episodes and the classmates senior year at Bayside High. I love, love, love this classic teen dramedy. Leanna Creel played tough biker chick Tori in a dozen episodes but if you look closely Kelly and Jessie are never in the same episodes with her, just Lisa and the three guys. I highly recommend this short but fantastic season. Buy it today!

saved by the bell hawian style and las vegas wedding 4 out of 5 stars.

I liked the Las Vegas wedding one better than the hawian movie. I've always liked saved by the bell and the romance between Zach and Kelly. I really liked the Las Vegas wedding one because it was much more real life like and involved Zach's family, you see the outside of his house and see the school that's suppose to be Bayside High. I would recommend it.

Great Series Finale! 5 out of 5 stars.

I've been a "Bell" Fan since the age of 8. Now, 17 years later and I still love watching these episodes! I wake up at 7 am just to watch the re-runs on TBS. They just don't make shows like this anymore. It brings me back to the innocence of my youth- as cheesy as that may sound- but it's true. I was very excited to receive this DVD in the mail and when I did, I opened it up and watched it right away!! Amazon expedited the shipping... It came very well wrapped and it was a fast delivery. I will definitely be shopping from AMAZON again.

For die-hard Saved by the Bell fans only! 3 out of 5 stars.

Saved by the Bell - Hawaiian Style and Wedding in Las Vegas is a so-so collection. Both of these short t.v. movies are good but not great like the College Years or the original show. The style and look of these movies are strange and slow, the chemistry seems forced as well. Only purchase this if you can't live without these fun-loving pals. Enjoy!

The college years rules! 5 out of 5 stars.

Saved by the Bell - The College Years only lasted one little season but it was a great and a funny season to say the least. Zack, Slater, Screech, and Kelly's are the only surviving members of the original cast. The writing, plotlines, and acting is superb this season. I love and miss this show like crazy. I highly recommend it!

The guys are back, Zack, Screech, and Slater...Kelly as well. Lisa and Jessie are gone, but this doesnt' slow down the new series. No more HS and now into college, where they are all at square one and learn it the hard way. A great short lived show, that had you laughing in a different environment. Had some guest appearances as well from other celebs...i suggest get the Wedding in Vegas/Hawaii movie to cap this set off!

Not the best cast for "The New Class" 3 out of 5 stars.
2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

This is probably the worst cast on "The New Class".Each character is a direct knockoff of an original SBTB cast member. There is a Screech knockoff,a Zack knockoff,a Kelly knockoff,A pseudo Slater knockoff,a pseudo Jessie knockoff, and Lisa knockoff(kind of).Mr.Belding's still here to give you the Bayside feel.I recommend picking this up If you liked the original series.Enjoy!

i hate this new show they were trying to get a new class and make the look like the original and they used all the same plots as the original it was a big mess not a good item to buy

No Thanks 1 out of 5 stars.

They shouldn't have remade the show with knockoffs and unoriginal characters...i remember being excited about a new saved the bell, i'll just say it wasn't worth watching on tv and not worth buying, unless you are just a die hard fan of SBTB and series like it...

I liked this season 4 out of 5 stars.
1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

I think this was the best of all the seasons. I like Lydnsey and Rachel a lot!. Now that is my hormones speaking, but I just though this was the season it gelled. Now I am probably more attached to this season then any other in SBTB history though I have seen it all. Why? This is the season that got me hooked. It was just funny and kinda (should I admit this) sexy

Season 3 4 out of 5 stars.

its pretty cool. i agree with the dude that reviewed season 1 & 2 about the show picking up on its own after Ryan enters......its pretty cool, lindsay is pretty hot, she's just annoying....anyone agree?

Big time fan. 2 out of 5 stars.
0 of 0 people found this review helpful.

I actually think this is the second to worst season of the new class.(season one being the worst) Tommy D, RJ, and Lindsay were all god awful in this season. Ryan helped the show a lot, most notablly in seasons 4 and 5, but he is over shadowed by the previous 3 mentioned. Unless you're a hardcore fan of Saved by the Bell, I would skip this season and check out the new class seasons 4-7.

Farewell to the New Class 4 out of 5 stars.
2 of 3 people found this review helpful.

Seasons 6 and 7 remind me a lot of season 2 in that they did not have a definitive male star on the show. Season 1 pushed the Scott character as the leading male character and Seasons 3-5 had Ryan Parker as their male star. These two seasons could not make up there minds on which male character to highlight as their star, much like season 2 in my opinion. Despite that these seasons had their fair share of memorable moments and did a fine job of closing out the series. I recommend this set to anyone who is a fan of any season of Saved by the Bell: The New Class.

As graduation approaches, the Bayside High gang faces many challenges and fun-filled adventures in the final two seasons of this well-loved series! Tony, the quarterback from arch rival Valley High, transfers to Bayside and joins Maria, Nicky, Katie, Eric and Liz in these 26 hilarious episodes. Meanwhile, one of TV's nuttiest odd couples -- Mr. Belding and Screech -- end up working together in an after-school job. As the gang prepares to enter a new phase in their lives, many surprises are in store!

The best season of a less than perfect show 3 out of 5 stars.
5 of 5 people found this review helpful.

First of all, I'm an adult and don't really watch shows like this anymore but I did watch this show growing up and am reviewing it from the perspective of someone who can view this series with the nostalgia factor working for it. If you didn't grow up watching this show (and I admit, there can't be many people interested in this product who didn't), stop reading now and DON'T buy this set.

Saved By the Bell was a cheesy teen show with mediocre to bad acting, lazy (sometimes preachy) writing, and storylines that were seldom believable. That being said, as a kid, there was something about the original Saved By the Bell that hooked you in. There was just something about it that made even the preachy stories entertaining and as a kid you never noticed that the acting was subpar.

But all good things (and in this case, mediocre things) must come to an end and when the original series ended, the producers looked for a way to milk the Saved By the Bell franchise for all it was worth. Enter The New Class.

The concept was relatively simple. Mr. Belding remains at Bayside High and a brand new group of students emerges to seek adventure and fun. The first season began with a group of new kids....but somehow these kids didn't seem so new. Basically, all of the characters from season one of The New Class (sans Vicki, who doesn't seem too similar to any of the original characers) were clones of characters from the original. Scott was the new Zach. Tommy D was the new (dumber) Slater, etc. Right from the start, it was clear to all concerned that something wasn't working. No one wanted to see recycled storylines with clones in place of the originals. And I don't think I'm alone in thinking that Tommy D and Lindsay were terrible actors, even by teen show standards.

So, when season 2 rolled around, the powers that were decided to fix things up. Though in doing this, some of their "improvements" were certainly questionable. Scott, Weasel, and Vicki were all let go, never to be mentioned again. Strange choices, considering Weasel was probably the most tolerable of the clones, and Vicki was the only character who seemed original. Even Scott, while no Zack Morris, was at least adequate. Of the cast members who remained, only Megan Jones was halfway decent.

But some of the people brought in to improve season 2 actually proved to be quite good. Brian seems to be the closest thing to a central "Zack-like" character, but was less of a schemer. Bobby was the comic-relief of the new group, but wasn't a complete nerd like Screech. And Rachel was Brian's love-interest, sort of like the Zack and Kelly of season 2. And, to fans of the original series, the biggest pleasure was seeing Dustin Diamond returning to again play Samuel "Screech" Powers, who returned to Bayside High to work as Mr. Belding's assistant.

While still not as good as the original (which, of course, was also just a teen show and therefore far from perfect), season 2 did prove to be an improvement over the first year of The New Class and probably stands as the best season this series put out. In later seasons, Screech would get weirder and zanier until finally even people who loved him on the original series would have to be annoyed by him. But here we still have the somewhat human Screech we remember from the College Years.

By season 3, the cast would change again (and incredibly, the producers still chose to keep the terrible Tommy D and Lindsay over the semi-decent characters of Brian, Bobby, and Megan...all I can figure is that other kids responded much differently to these characters than I did), and it was clear that the producers had not learned their lesson from season one. They created a new Zach-clone in Ryan, and season 3 saw them again directing ripping off the original series. Screech also began to get more obnoxious at that point.

It was also around this point that it became obvious that the producers were never going to be happy with the cast. They seemed content to fire half the cast each season and just hope somehow lightning would strike twice and they'd find a new group with the appeal of Zack, Slater, Screech, Kelly, Jessie, and Lisa. Strangely enough though, they might have succeeded if they had just left well-enough alone after season 2. Sure, the somewhat different characters of season 2 might not have been an immediate success, but people might have grown to like them had the audience been given time to accept them. Instead, on The New Class, characters were gone as quickly as they came so each season has a different feeling.

And for that reason, I think this season wins the gold. The characters weren't the direct knock-offs we saw in season one, nor was Screech as obnoxious as he would become in season three and onward. This was as close to a winning-formula as The New Class would ever come, so if you are going to shell out money for a set, this is the one to get. But don't buy this if you are just looking for a 90's series about growing up. It boggles my mind that all seven seasons of The New Class have been given a DVD but yet The Wonder Years (a series that was actually GOOD) hasn't seen the light of day. Oh well, I guess we can't win 'em all!

Editorial Review:

The magic is truly back in this second season of hilarity and friendship. Dustin Diamond returns as Screech, but this time he's on the other side - as administrative assistant and frequent annoyance to Principal Belding! Brian, Rachel and the hilarious Bobby join Tommy D., Lindsay and Megan in the always crazy halls of Bayside High. In these 26 fun-filled episodes, the gang swings into high-gear as they experience brand-new friendships, romances and adventures, including a fight to save the school! Starring Dustin Diamond, Dennis Haskins, Jonathan Angel, Isaac Lindsky, Bianca Lawson, Natalia Cigliuti, Christian Oliver, Sarah Lancaster and Spankee Rodgers.
