i got to say this dvd brings back so many memories. i wish there was something i could do to bring back the show to tv..but i guess there really isnt anything to do. oh well, but i highly recomend this movie/dvd.

Inspired by a classic video game, the animated Zoids comes with a ready-made and uniquely appealing story line and characters. Set on the desert planet Zi, where mechanized robot beasts known as Zoids are piloted by humans in fierce battles against one another, this episodic anime adventure series centers on a 16-year-old junk dealer named Bit Cloud. The unlikely choice of a catlike Zoid hero named Liger Zero to be the latter's intuitive pilot, Bit becomes a champion fighter for the warrior group Team Blitz. The four tales on this program explore Bit and Liger's feats of derring-do, as well as Bit's struggle for acceptance by his teammates. this picks up where irvine has just used his lighning saix for the first time. anyway it follows the same rutine as the others previews and all. for zoids fans as always, and for newbies aswell.

First off this is a review of Zoids Choatic Century series as a whole. Second I would have given this a 3.5 if I could.
ZCC is by far the best zoids series in the franchise. That still isn't saying much, this is just your average big robo anime. The voice acting is okay, the graphics again okay, the plot is slightly above average. This is a long series that has a lot twists but its just not the amazing legendary anime everyones making it out to be. Make no mistake this is nowhere near the league of say gundam or EVA. This is your anime you pop in if you have kids or just want something to do du to. Normally I would say save your money but the series cost 12.99 each brand new so try it out if you like then go on if you don't then you only wasted 12 dollors not a terrible waste.

Zoids: Chaotic Century is one of my favorite animes. When I saw the DVD at Borders, I nearly blacked out. It was only 15 dollars, so I bought it. As soon as I'd gotten home, I popped it in my DVD player and was practically in Nirvana, but was a bit disappointed.
The downside of this DVD is simply that this is the edited English dub, meaning that that the DVD was in kids' format sadly. There should be a bilingual version, and the episodes on this are some of the most questionable ones to be aired on CN, they should have left them undedited. These are great epidsodes, wrong version. If you want to watch Zoids at its best, download the Japanese version, it's better.

It's been a while since I've seen Zoids, and seeing it once again is really, really nice. Therefore, perhaps it's just my imagination when I think some things are different between the DVD and the episodes. For starters, the animation seems a little rockier and a little less realistic. The music, however, was definately fabulous. I liked this collection of episodes because it held the last four episodes of Chaotic Century and the first two of Guardian Force.

These episodes are great!As you can see the 2 zoids(ligerzero and lighting saix)which the episode is featured.Vol.2 features the(main)episode The High Speed Battle:Transforming in zero Jager.In this episode Harry Champ hiers Jack Cisco to help him beat the Blitz team.Of course Harry was a lucky guy to win Jack's game(which is drawing the card and guessing which suit it is).Harry's team lost thanks to the Ligerzero Jager.Also in this episode Bit finds out about the new parts for his Liger.Also you have the episodes The Dark Gaint:invincible Elephander which Leena's zoid is totaled,The Desert Gang:the Hover Cargo's in Danger which Leena gets a Gun Sniper and attacked by the Sand Stingray Gang,and Invasion of The Fierce Tigers:Tranform to Zero Schnider which in this episode the Zabers meet their savior and get the strom unit.Your pretty lucky if you get this since you see the first episodes in which the Liger tranforms.The only thing you don't see is tranfroming into Panzer.Believe me, you should get this amazing,exceting,funny and just cool Vol.

One afternoon, I was minding my own buisness and thought about watching Cartoon Network, not knowing at the time that what I would see would change my life forever. I had already heard about ZOIDS but didn't exactly know what they were. That afternoon, I tuned into the episode where Naomi Fluegul was introduced. Ever since that day, I watched every episode I could. I don't have this DVD yet, but I've seen the episodes on it. This is an awesome series!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I, the instant I saw an episode of the Zoid series, thought that it was completely awsome!!! Zoids is 100% better than "Yu-Gi-Oh!" or "Pokemon" or "Digimon." It is totally cool. Once you see, it you'll love it.

I have all 6 dvds for the Zoids series and I am always amazed how this one dvd just cost so much in the set. This is the only dvd in the set that I think has the fewest copy to sell.
Wow, $80 to $100 bucks! I bought mine for $20 back when it costed about $50 to get one. I got it for $20 because the seller wasn't greedy and I don't think the seller knew what he/she had so I got mine for a super great price. I wouldn't have paid $50 or $100 for this dvd today or back than.
I would think $80 or $100 bucks is way too much for this dvd. The price should be $30 to $50 if people really, really, REALLY WANTED IT! Otherwise save your hard earn cash!
I mean, you never know. One day, the makers might release the series again on a speical box set and think how much money you would have blown so you can own this 1 dvd. Then again, you never really know. They may never release this series again and this is your own choice. So it's up to you to.
All things aside, this series is a great show and the 4 episode in this dvd are really good to watch. :)

As you've noticed this vol. is called The Coliseum Battle,but there are no titles refering to this in this vol.,so by my terms this refers to the last episode in the series.There 4 episodes(like any other vol.).The episodes featured are The Princess Arrives:Mary Champ in which Harry looses all his zoids.His Sister Mary comes to talk him out of zoid battling.He tells her he's in it to beat Bit and win Leena which Mary thinks Leena is a push over.She sees the ligerzero and chanlges the Blitz team to a battle for it.But they loose and the ligerzero remains for the Blitz team and Mary decides to let Harry loose...i mean try to win his battles.Next Desert Tusk:Assult of the War Sharks the Fofma team vs. the Blitz team, The Sensational Three:Rematch with Jack Cicso in which the Blitz team looses their first battle,and Zero is Stolen:The Firey Battle.This episode is what the title refers too.In this episode Zero is stolen by the Backdraft and Bit has to fight the Elephander and be apart of the Backdraft or they'll eraese Liger's memory.The two fight in a coliseum which is interuted by the Hover Cargo's assult of gun fire.I won't tell you the rest you'll just have to find out yourself.You should buy this series of excetment today.

special feuters moonbay and gustave, starts off van wants to fight with raven again thinking he will win (coky little punk he is) but raven uses him to mop the floor along with irvine zeek is also almost killed. they also use the zg (a gojulas gunner verry powerful!) and they finnaly get a treaty between the republic and the empire
