Product came in a timely manner in good viewing order! This is a packet of a lot of DVDs, so will not have to order anymore for awhile. Will take my son awhile to get through these.

GREAT COLLECTION! 5 out of 5 stars.

GREAT COLLECTION OF CLIFFORD DVDS FOR THE CLIFFORD FAN IN YOUR FAMILY! MONEY WELL SPENT. IT'S MORE ECONOMICAL TO BUY THIS DVD SET THEN TO PURCHASE SEPERATELY. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The Best of Clifford 4 out of 5 stars.

The content was perfect for my 3 year old daughter. She was glued to each episode for a week. The lessons learned are important, and there's no violence. The only negative, is that you need a DVD remote control to access the episodes you want. Since we don't have one for the car or the master bedroom (lost them) we had a difficult time viewing them.

The Best of Clifford TRULY is the best! 5 out of 5 stars.

My youngest son started watching Clifford on PBS this summer (my older son watched it when he was younger). He truly looked forward to Clifford, but the programming changed with the start of the Fall season. I ordered this set because I wanted a variety of Clifford shows to watch instead of the same one over and over and over again.

This set is great! All of the discs are easy to use and are organized quite well. The exceptional PBS quality show is now ready for us to see just about any time! John Ritter and the rest of the cast make this show so much fun for any age to watch. The graphics are great, the music is great, and the story line is classic.

I wasn't expecting the cute little plastic case that came outside the box. I am not sure what else it might be used for as it is not really strong enough for a storage container. We will probably end up getting rid of that part. The CD case holds all of the CDs inside quite nicely.

If you like Clifford, this is the ultimate CD pack to buy! I highly recommend it! I know. I have already seen them all about 10 times each, and Clifford is a daily routine in our house now!

Hooked on the Big Red Dog 5 out of 5 stars.

We need more movies of loving characters with good music and no foul language. My daughter loves Clifford and we saw this over the summer at a theater then got it from the library. When she cried when it had to go back I decided we needed our own copy. I'm not sick of it yet. ;)

clifford is cute 4 out of 5 stars.

My two-year old daughter likes this movie. The music is catchy and it's not completely annoying to the over 5 crowd either.

Just okay....for very young child 3 out of 5 stars.

My toddler loves the Clifford PBS series, and I thought she'd like this too....but not as much, turns out! Story is cute, voices are great, but the animation is not the same, and her attention was not as held by this dvd. Maybe for older kids it would be different. Good buy, though!

My son loves this one! 5 out of 5 stars.
1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

My 3-year old loves this one and asks to watch it constantly. Each of the episodes are very entertaining, but based on the number of times I've viewed them in the last week alone, the thought of a "Puppy Clifford" request makes me want to claw my own eyes out. It's not Clifford's fault...

I highly recommend this one for all "Puppy Clifford" lovers. Just make sure you buy a second DVD so you can rotate them every so often!!

"A Fun Way to Help Kids Grow!" 4 out of 5 stars.
11 of 11 people found this review helpful.

Now that John Ritter has passed (RIP) and no new episodes are being made, this series continues its trot to DVD. Lionsgate is handling the releases now, under the "Scholastic Clifford the Big Red Dog" banner.

"Growing Up With Clifford" contains the usual eight "Clifford" stories, with the them of learning about growing and handling responsibilities. The stories are "Blanket Blues," "Food for Thought," "When I Grow Up," "Fishing Lessons," "Dog for a Day," "Nothing to Fur but Fur Itself," "Another Fine Mess" and "Vaz Goes Down the Tubes."

There are a couple of halfway decent special features. You get three "Speckle" stories and a feature that shows how to draw some of the characters, such as Clifford, Emily Elizabeth, T-Bone and Cleo.

King Cobra 5 out of 5 stars.
4 of 4 people found this review helpful.

A friend of mine once stated that Cobra was "one of the greatest works of art ever committed to celluloid". He's dead now, so I feel okay saying that his comment was patently absurd. Cobra is, in fact, the greatest achievement in human history. More to the point, watching Cobra is like peering into the mind of God.
Following all the movie's plot twists and turns is certainly a test of mental acuity, but under the delicate helmsmanship of director George Cosmatos, even a dullard can expect 87 minutes of uninterrrupted rapture. Based on Paula Gosling's criminally Nobel-overlooked novel "Fair Game", Cobra explores the fragile struggle between civilized society's need for a humane justice system versus its innate lust for exacting revenge. In an increasingly violent, hostile, and lonely world, where apocalyptic serial-killing cults are allowed to infiltrate our power structures (in this case, the police force), slaughter our pop icons in parking garages (Peter Cetera), and clink their axes together in abandoned warehouses, where do we draw the line between cruelty and justice? Where Cosmatos stands on this issue is purely speculative, as he tackles the films denouement with characteristic subtlety and restraint: Cobra impales the maniacal cult leader on a hook conveyor to be immolated in a roaring smelting furnace. It's an ending that will no doubt continue to inspire spirited discourse amongst filmgoers and ethicists for decades to come.
At the center of all this wondrous mayhem is Sylvester Stallone as the hard-boiled "zombie squad" toiler Marion "Cobra" Cobretti. And, surprise surprise!, he is once again at the top of his craft. Here he revolutionizes thespianism with a brilliant new school of character development whereby the actor bypasses the diverse landscape of emotions one would expect from his/her character and instead tenaciously embraces a look of fatigue, angst, and confusion throughout the film's entirety. It's a talent only the likes of Burt Reynolds and a young Dolph Lundgren could ever hope to master.
Need romance? Cobra has it in spades. The chemistry between Stallone and damsel-in-distress Brigitte Nielsen recalls classic Tracy-Hepburn and DeVito-Perlman. This is never more evident than in the infamous diner scene, in which Nielsen squirts a viscous lagoon of ketchup on her french fries before an exasperated Cobretti. This stunning use of condiments only hints at the unbearably thick sexual tension between the protagonists and always lights a fire in my shorts.
The only sad note in this film : wardrobe director Tom Bronson's mind-boggling decision to saddle Cobra's partner Gonzalez (played by an unbelievably adequate Reni Santoni) with a tweed cap throughout most of the action. Yes, the dapper fez lends some street-cred and authenticity to the role, but it isn't until a shootout near the end of the film that the heaven that is this man's gossamer follicles are exposed! Shame on you, Mr. Bronson. Anything less than the unadulterated glory that is Mr. Santoni's vibrant plumage is a crime in my book!!!
Aspiring filmmakers take heed: commit "Cobra" to memory...or take up bricklaying.

plus bonus episodes 5 out of 5 stars.

This is sweet, innocent fare, with universally good themes without being preachy. My 3 year old is following stories now, and has added Clifford and Little Bear to her repertoire of Elmo and Blue's Clues, but her 6 and 7 year old friends still like this series. This particular DVD is one of the better ones, I think, since instead of the usual 8 episodes it has 10. In addition to the usual lessons about friendship and good manners, there is also a story about when Clifford first gets his doghouse. Nothing scary, nothing objectionable, just wholesome fun. Highly recommended.

clifford is great 5 out of 5 stars.

My son is only 15 months but he loves Clifford. He doesn't watch all of the show, but it does keep his interest. I guess because Clifford is so colorful. Clifford is very educational in teaching about feelings. I know this DVD will come in handy for the next few years. Great purchase.

My child love it 5 out of 5 stars.

Clifford is fabulous, as always. 5 out of 5 stars.

I bought this title particularly for the story about the new baby to help my boys feel prepared for the arrival of their new sibling. It gently explores a big sister's jealousy of her new little brother and then she discovers that she has a valuable and helpful place in her family as she adopts her role as Big Sister. Very cute and well done.

Clifford Whips Up Big, Red Playtime Fun 5 out of 5 stars.
0 of 0 people found this review helpful.

It's been a little while since there's been a "Clifford the Big Red Dog" DVD release, so this DVD is quite welcome. Lionsgate has delivered by bringing us a DVD packed with ten stories from the show, for a total over 100 minutes of fun. Also included on this DVD are a few "Speckle Stories" (fun animated interstitial segments that aired in between stories on the television broadcasts.) There's also the feature "Real Life Doggy Friends." This is a feature many may not have seen. It was developed for the program, but was removed in many markets due to complaints by parents that it would cause kids to beg their parents to get them dogs. Well -- maybe so, but all in all, these spots are good canine fun.

Unfortunately, with the passing of John Ritter, it looks like this series has come to an end. On the bright side, you can relive the magic of the show with some of the great stories included on this DVD. One of the fun stories on this disc is "Tie-Dyed Clifford," in which Cleo, T-Bone and Clifford mistake a set of tie-dye paints for shampoos, leading to a colorful new look for Clifford. Another is "Led Astray," featuring a delightful guest spot by Henry Winkler as the voice of the mischievous dog Artie. Henry Winkler would go on to perform the voice of the bird Norville on the series "Clifford's Puppy Days."

The other stories on this DVD are as follows -- "Tummy Trouble, "Cleo Gets a Cone," "Team Spirit," "Follow the Leader," "Topsy-Turvy Day," "That's Snow Lie," "Stars in Your Eyes" and "Fair Weather Friend." All are a delight to watch, for any fan of this lovable big red dog and his friends.
